Mount Sinai PSON ABSN Fall 2021

Starting the thread since I could only find Summer 2021z Has anyone applied to and/or gotten an admission decision from Mount Sinai PSON for their ABSN program starting Fall 2021? Where else did you apply? Share stats if comfortable, you know the drill! Thanks!

I was told that if taking patho and pharm they have to be complete and transcript send by July 1st for the Fall cohort

How difficult are these courses to take at the same time/ before July 1st? I work full time and thinking of cramming these courses in before July 1st is quite stressful - any thoughts?

Same here, I am hoping they push the deadline for completing pre-reqs

It seems a bit rushed to finish all of these course before July, right? Hoping for the same, but glad to hear I'm not the only one!

They did! It is also visible in NursingCAS as the new deadline.

I contacted Tuan and he told me you only had to enter the 9 prerequisite courses!

Ohh I see. On NursingCAS, it said to fill out all courses so that's what I did haha.

Have people who still have prereqs in progress heard back yet? Does PSON do conditional admissions?

@cam458 It isn't my first choice. I applied to NYU, Stonybrook, Mercy, and Rush (Chicago) as well. Rush, Stonybrook, and Mt Sinai were the ones I would be most content with. I applied in November of 2020. I am now stuck between Rush and Mt.Sinai, I will make my decision around next week.
