Mount Sinai PSON ABSN Fall 2021

Starting the thread since I could only find Summer 2021z Has anyone applied to and/or gotten an admission decision from Mount Sinai PSON for their ABSN program starting Fall 2021? Where else did you apply? Share stats if comfortable, you know the drill! Thanks!

You can take it before hand and transfer it in. That’s what I’m going to do. If not, you have to take it in the fall. Would you like to connect on fb?

I would love to but I actually don’t use fb. I’m on Ig.

I’m starting to get nervous and honestly a little frustrated that I haven’t heard anything yet. Does anyone know what their decision release timelines are like? It seems they have only been once a month from what has been posted on this forum... hoping that they’re not going to keep those that haven’t heard anything waiting until May..

Hey Julia! They’re actually beginning to send out acceptance letters already! A few students here mentioned they’ve received as of last week! So we should hear back very very soon. I’m not sure in what order/ condition they’re sending out these letters but wait for this week/ next week!

I am starting to get nervous too and I hope to have an answer by at least next week, if anyone gets more acceptances please let us know here on the forum. Best of luck to everyone!

Hey I created the facebook group under the name Mount Sinai ABSN fall 2021. Let me know if you see it. I’m not sure how facebook really works anymore LOL

hey! do you know if there's a specific date they'd need the final transcript(s) in for those courses if we decide to take them ahead of time?

July 9th is the deadline for the courses to be submitted

hey 

I reached out to them and they states that students will received their letters in the 2 to 3 weeks. they are working on them. some students are still taking prerequisite. just be a little patience.

for those that have been accepted, is there a deadline to accept and make the deposit? I am still waiting for decisions from multiple schools, as I'm sure many others are too. thanks for any info!

In the Summer session, there was a 2 week deposit period of 500 dollars. The health forms also are due around 1 or 2 months before enrollment. I believe that is part of your first tuition but don't quote me on it. Tuition costs around $56000 for the Summer start. As for scholarships, there is an application that you can fill out (personal statement), but ask the financial aid for your transcripts, LOR, FAFSA file. Cheers to all that got in ?

 

One edit: There was only like 1 person working financial aid, one person working admissions, one person doing enrollment things. Seems very understaffed, but maybe it will work out. School is at 125th st station 4/5/6 train
