Mount Sinai ABSN Summer 2020

Has anyone applied to and/or gotten an admission decision from Mount Sinai PSON for the ABSN program starting Summer 2020?

Does anyone take Pathophysiology or Pharmacology before entering the Nursing Program? I heard someone said it's better to take it. I'm thinking if I should take it.

Any advice?

I am not a student there, but did ask about those based on tips from this thread. the only thing is that they told me that you would have to have the grades for these submitted by June 1 for them to count as transfer credits. otherwise they wouldn't count

June 1st or July 1st?

On the paper, it says all credit transfers must be completed before July 1st.

@Devochka89 I submitted my reply form along with money order last Tuesday. I have not taken Pathophysiology and pharmacology. I do not think I will be able to take those class before the due date.

Hey guys,

Do you think PSON offers housing for students? I saw a comment about that so I'm just wondering.

I don't believe PSON offers housing- it's a very small program, but of course you can email and try to get a response.

I ended up mailing the form and deposit today since I had not heard back in nearly a week. I'd recommend trying to go to your local post office at earlier hours, similar to if you were going to a grocery store- I went a few hours ago and even though people were practicing social distancing, it was pretty full.

Does anyone start doing background checks and drug screening?

Hi! I received an email regarding my acceptance for fall on April 11th ? does anyone know if they're going to mix the Summer and fall cohorts? I'm just a little curious since they said they're moving to a new building and NYC is currently on hold due to COVID-19
