Mount Sinai ABSN Summer 2020

Has anyone applied to and/or gotten an admission decision from Mount Sinai PSON for the ABSN program starting Summer 2020?

I received my acceptance letter as well. Do you know anything about financial aid? Like when they will be sending it out and will be you going?

@oneday_nursepoundcake I also want to know the tuition for this program. Would you mind sharing information with us if you got the response from the school? Or does anyone who currently in the program knows about the tuition, would you mind to sharing information with us?

@ lily 41 sorry, I still know nothing about the financial aid things. I got accepted to Liu as well. For Liu, the tuition is a little over 7 grand. I think this program may be cheaper than LIU.

Hi. CONGRATS! Where does the acceptance letter come to? Is it through your nursing CAS application or email?

@lily41 I had finished doing most things to start my classes at LIU. Deposit fee, uniform, and drug screening, etc. The classes will start on May 18... Therefore, I am kinda hesitated about which school should I go to. The tuition for LIU is too overwhelming for me so I really want anyone here can tell me the tuition for Mount Sinai. One of my friends advises me to take the class at LIU. Since LIU starts classes early which means I can graduate from school and start working early. Not only that, my parents want me to study at Mount Sinai since they thought there will be a great chance for me to work at Mount Sinai hospital if I graduate from their nursing program. Do your guys think whether that is true? Could anyone here give me some advice? I really appreciate about it.

Hello, the last I checked, the Mt. Sinai program was about $60K total

They also have a few stats on their Academics tab, under Program Goals/Outcomes. They didn't put a percentage rate for NCLEX pass rates for first-time takers, just said "at or above" state/national means. https://www.mountsinai.org/locations/beth-israel/pson/academics/absn
