Hey Everyone,
I thought I would start a page for the fall 2019 cohort Mount Sinai. Looking forward to hearing all your thoughts. I applied just recently. I’m waiting to hear back. Keeping my fingers crossed.
Best,
FD
I thought I was the only one who wasn’t hearing back from her!
I’m still waiting as to whether or not I have been accepted into the Fall 2019 program. She initially told me that she would let me know by early this week but I haven’t heard anything since. I have emailed her two times this week to no avail.
I did notice on their Facebook page that they were holding orientations throughout the week so I’m assuming she was involved with that in some capacity. Out of all of the programs that I applied to, I have yet to encounter someone as communicative and as sweet as her.
Hoping for the best!!

Honestly, you do not need the textbook even for Pharm. I ADVISE RECORD HER LECTURES, and go over them daily if you have to. She makes everything so simple, it just matters if u pay attention to her lectures. If yall need the textbook for reference lemme know, Ill send you an email.
For A&P hmm, we went based of the lectures slides so can't recommend any TB there.
ANYWAYS GOOD LUCK!

Can I ask what made you decide PSON?
Mostly because the tuition is half the price of NYU. Spoke with a lot of nurses (some who went to NYU) and they advised with me to go with the cheaper option as they're still paying off their debt 8-9 years since graduating.
Also spoke with some people who went to PSON (not ABSN) and they had nothing but amazing things to say about the program. One PSON alumni messaged me that "everyone I work with always asks me where I went to school. They always tell me they an see a difference especially when we do rounds and talk about patients care. Always say how knowledgeable and thorough I am. I was def taught that at school...)

I had emailed her the day after I sent mine and she responded and said they literally just received it. I have been successful by email contacting her. Just keep sending follow up emails.
Not sure if anyone else has any other suggestions?
