I have recently applied for the MSMU's Summer 2018 ABSN Program at the Doheny Campus, and I would be delighted to know if anyone else applied!
I am scheduled to take the Math Exam on the 16th of December!

I wanted to know for the future how intense the interview process was, how many people there were interviewing and how long it lasted. I know it's probably different for everyone, but just thought I'd get a sense.

Hello, for the interview - I was interviewed with a panel of two interviewers who are instructors and there were two applicants simultaneously being interviewed by them. So it was me and another applicant. We took turns answering the same question. Then onto the next question. I believe I was in the room for at least 30 minutes. I recall them asking: what made me choose nursing now, what challenging situation have I experienced that I overcame. Hope this helps! Good luck!!
For our cohort, our orientation was on May 3rd and our first day of class was May 8th. Honestly, I know what you all are going through right now. The waiting game sucks, but it will end soon! Hang in there.
Regarding preparing for the program, I would first suggest you spend as much time with your friends and family. Do not worry too much about on how to prepare for the program. Once the program starts, you will not have any free time. The first semester you will start off easy and think to yourself, oh this isn't so bad, then when the second semester hits, that's when it will get intense. Hang in there! Hi Everyone! I applied for the Fall 2018 cohort. Did anyone else have issues with the online reference form? My referencer could not use the link attached and ended up having to mail it in? Also, how do we know if our application has been sent? I paid and received a confirmation for that but do we get a confirmation that they received the application? I am one of the accepted students from Summer 2018 cohort.
I am not sure about the online reference form, but you have to call the admissions office to make sure your application is 100% complete, as well as receipt of your letters of recommendation. This can be a lengthy process so try and have patience for them to update your file with your mailed documents. As long as all the information they requested is postmarked before the application deadline, you will be fine.
