Hey everyone! I recently applied for MSMU's ABSN program for the Fall 2017 cohort...I am wondering if anyone else has applied and where are you in the process? I haven't heard anything back but don't know anyone else who has applied so just wondering how you are all doing.

Update! I just got a phone call from someone confirming my prereqs so I asked what the next step was and they said the next step is math placement test and that email will be sent out tomorrow, Tuesday! We can relax for today.

Thanks for the update, @rma02 !! Does everyone get an invite for the math placement test, you think? Or only certain people?

Oh I'm not sure! I should've asked! I'm gonna guess they invite more than they're admitting, but not everyone. But I could be totally wrong.

Fair enough!! Well congrats on getting a call!! Hopefully that's a good sign!! Let us know when you hear something tomorrow...I'm sure all of us will be checking our email like crazy haha!

Oh I don't think getting a call was necessarily good haha :/ they wanted to make sure I was going to have my prereqs done on time because I have 2 left :/ so I think they just wanted to update my file saying I plan to take them I guess. If you didn't get a call, your prereqs are probably all set! I'll definitely post if I hear something! I was refreshing my email all day today haha I'm sure all of us were anxious!

Really?? I have 4 left! I'm taking Physiology and Lifespan Dev Psychology right now, and during the summer I'm taking Religion and Intro to Sociology! I put on my application that I'm planning on taking those last 2 classes this summer, and my transcripts show I'm in progress on the two classes right now. So, who knows! Now, I'm worried haha!

Ohhh no you're fine! I meant I have 2 to take in the summer! I'm currently still taking religion, and critical thinking! But for the summer I have to retake chemistry and anatomy because they're a little more than 5 years old and since those are science classes I think that looks pretty bad that I still need to take them. So they were making sure I was planning on taking them in the summer because they're 'hard' classes to take together but I think as long as I can get in the class, I should be ok. We'll see! But you're totally fine!

Oh got it! Well I'm sure you'll be fine too! They have so many pre-reqs, it's hard to not have any some in progress haha!

Had I have known that you could apply with that many pre-reqs in progress/intended I would have! I'm only missing the phil and religion requirements...

You should have definitely applied! You can apply for next summer! Applications are due in October, I think :-)
