Mount Saint Mary's University ABSN Fall 2017 Application

Published

Hey everyone! I recently applied for MSMU's ABSN program for the Fall 2017 cohort...I am wondering if anyone else has applied and where are you in the process? I haven't heard anything back but don't know anyone else who has applied so just wondering how you are all doing.

I just got it at 3:17 PM!!! Woo hoo!!!!

Got mine too. I am scheduled for the math exam on the 29th of April. Dont forget your no. 2 pencils, no calculator allowed, 30 item exam. Goodluck!

Good luck to everyone this weekend!!! Hopefully we start hearing about interviews shortly after!! :-)

Math results are in!! I missed 1 :-(

I missed 2! :/ well based on what Agasia said, seems like we'll be totally fine as long as our score is not too low!

Congrats on the great score, as well! Yes I'm sure we will be fine!! When do you think we will start hearing about interviews??

I think she said a couple of weeks? I remember her mentioning but I can't remember exactly when that was. Hope it's soon!!

Me too! I feel like I check my email every day! Let me know if you hear anything!

Have a good weekend everyone! Hope we hear next week!! Hopefully they do interviews before Memorial Weekend!!

Thanks you too!! Have you heard back from any of the other schools you applied to? I heard back from one but now the reality of student loans is starting to set in and I have so much anxiety over it :/ I gotta figure out how to get a private loan for all my costs because I missed the FAFSA deadline :( Do you mind me asking what your plans are for financing the program??

Hi @rma02 !

Congrats!! I assume you got into this other program? If you don't mind me asking, what program is it? So awesome! I only applied to USF-OC campus besides MSMU, so I haven't heard back from them yet! Should hear back around the same time as MSMU!

Totally hear you on the student loans. I applied for FAFSA, so hoping to have something from that. I'm also looking into private loans and my parents have agreed to help me out, as well.

Thanks!!! Yeah I got accepted into CSU Sam Marcos ABSN program. It's cheaper than MSMU but it's a 24 month program so a bit longer and I don't think I'll be able to commute because it's a 70ish mile commute. That would kill me! But I've already submitted my intent to enroll but I'm looking into student loans and so far no luck :/

I have no loans now from my first bachelors so I'm SO stressed out over having to take such a huge loan :/ I just hope it's worth it!
