Mount Saint Mary's ABSN FALL 2011

Just reaching out to other fellow nursing students who applied for this coming Fall 2011 ABSN program at Mount Saint Mary's (Los Angeles)...I completed my application a few weeks ago.

nidi: The email was from ----, ABSN Program Coordinator and the subject line was: FW: Interviews for Accelerate​d BSN Program. There were only about 10 people on the email, so there will likely be others going out, or decisions without interviews. Good luck!

socalgrl: that is frustrating! I had a similar issue with Azusa Pacific, but they wouldn't even look into it. I hope it doesn't hold you back, since you've done so much work already! Good luck!

Hi All,

I just heard from the director of the AccBSN Program and she explained that they are really behind this time. She apologized and updated my Web Advisor to "complete and in review". She said I should expect an interview request sometime this week. I hope this helps those of you still waiting.

Does anyone know if they interview all students whose application says "Complete- In Review?" Or do they only interview a few of those students.

I believe they can interview anyone... even if they don't have "complete-in review" Basically, If you haven't received a rejection letter yet, then you still have a chance at getting interviewed.

hey all you guys waiting to hear from msmc, i graduated last august from there and would definitely recommend taking bioethics beforehand, i took it concurrently and while i did fine it would have been really nice to have that break between classes to study or relax instead of trying to cram and listen to bioethics it was also additional reading and essays that i wished i'd done before starting the program .... but its definitely doable.

I just got my interview invitation. So nervous and excited. Has anyone already gone through the interview process? What questions were you asked?

Interviews are from May 30th all the way through June 9. I'm not sure how many people they are interviewing, but in the past they've done up to three waves of interviews. Hope this helps.
