I spoke to the director and transfer counselor at a health conference last friday and they said they are really backed up this year due to the amount of applications that were received. So I'm pretty sure they are still sending interview emails out. Hope you get your letter soon!! I'll be crossing my fingers for you! :)

Just curious if there is anyone else out there that hasn't heard back from admissions. I haven't gotten a rejection letter or an interview request. My WebAdvisor still says Complete in Review.

Me too! It is nerve-racking, but at least there is still a chance if no rejection letter... :idea:

I think there may be one more round of interviews next week. The director said they would likely be interviewing this week and next also. Good Luck! :)

Exactly, just hoping if they had more than usual to get through that they are just behind on the whole process right now...we can certainly hope for the best.... it's the waiting that is hard for sure!!!

I had my interview this morning with the director. I got the ethical dilemma questions, why nursing, and what I can bring to the profession. She told me that it is rare for students to get straight As in the program and asked how I would deal with getting a B on a test that I studied all day and night for. She also asked me if I would be able to start in August. My interview was 20 minutes long.

I asked when we should expect letters of acceptance/rejection letters and she said in a couple of weeks. As I shook her hand, she said "I look forward to seeing you this August." Now I can't stop thinking and overanalyzing that statement! :confused: Anyone get that also?

For those who are interviewing, I hope this helps! Also, for those of you with an interview date, DO NOT call to reschedule.

hi all! i received an interview invite today for next week. I am so ecstatic and nervous at the same time. Thanks ner214 for posting your interview experience. I am worried about the ethical dilemma question. hehe! Is it a panel interview or one on one interview? are they intimidating?

No it's a 1-1 interview. She was very nice and she makes u feel at ease during the interview. Like others said, it's hard not to be nervous for something like this but the best thing to do is relax :) and know that you'll do great!!

i believe they had close to 400 applicants for this fall cohort with around 60-100 interviewing from the 400 and selecting 40 students based on asking the ABSN admissions personnel. I hope this info helps...good luck to all interviewers. i believe they'll be holding interviews all the way though next week. decision letter r suppose be sent out on a rolling basis, so those who interview first will probably hear back in the middle of june

Hello Everyone!

I have my interview tomorrow. I'm nervous and excited. I am having trouble deciding how I will answer the ethical dilemma question. Those who have been to the interview please give me example of how you answered it. Was it a work, or personal dilemma. I have two possible ones. Would be greatly appreciated.
