Just reaching out to other fellow nursing students who applied for this coming Fall 2011 ABSN program at Mount Saint Mary's (Los Angeles)...I completed my application a few weeks ago.

I also applied for Fall 2011..... still waiting for webadvisor to update from April 21st. No e-mail request for an interview yet (if at all). No rejection letter yet. I'm not really sure where I stand. Hope everyone else is getting their answers. . . I'm in the dark.

I am in the same position. Hopefully we will be hearing good news soon. Please post once you start getting your interview request.

I had an additional transcript that I sent last month and it just now updated on the webadvisor. I don't think anyone has heard about interviews yet, but I'm finding it hard to wait patiently too! From prior years' posts we should expect to get a letter sometime the first week or two in June to tell us if we were accepted or not, and we may or may not get interviews before that. Hang in there! Please update the group if anyone gets an interview request...we'd all love to know!

hey everyone!

i'm new to this thread and i was glad i found a support group. i'm also waiting for any kind of movement in the web advisor. it's already mid may and i still haven't heard anything yet. from what i read from other threads, most probably we will hear from msmc early june. hopefully, we all get in!

My bet is that we start hearing about interviews the beginning of next week and interviews conducted the week of 30 May, with decisions the week of 6 June, but that's just my hunch! Good luck everyone and please update if you hear ANYTHING! :)

Did they update your webadivsor... or does it say the same thing?

It still says the same thing on Webadvisor. It was an email with just a handful of people on it. I'm sure they'll send out more invitations to interview than just this. Also, I've heard of them accepting people without an interview in the past, so either way stay positive and hopeful!

i actually got a phone call yesterday saying they wanted to push my application forward to the next step, but that they were having issues converting my science classes quarter units to semester units or something (i went to UCSD, majored in biology) and that taking Bacteriology and microbiology lab (8 units, both classes were upper division biology courses at UCSD) doesnt fullfill the microbiology requirement because they usually have people just take it at the community college... hmm.... well they said theyd look into it and call me back early today, but havent...Im a little frustrated if you cant tell... anybody else have issues like this?
