  2. Ya no problem. She's getting her BSN, she works at Sharp MB as an HCP per diem, no NICU preceptorship but she did an externship in labor and delivery at UCSD. Hope that helps, best of luck to all of you!
  3. They called her just yesterday morning so they may still be calling people..... I guess they didnt tell her how many people they were interviewing or how many positions they were hiring for unfortunately... Hopefully you hear something today!
  4. My sister has an interview with MB NICU Dec. 2
  5. Mine still says submission received..
  6. Hi all, I'm curious if any of you know anything about USD's BSN to DNP program, besides what is on their website. If you're in the program, or have gone through it, I would love to hear what you have to say about the program, how competitive it is, etc. I am currently in an Accelerated BSN program, with my first degree in Biology from UCSD.
  7. Alright got it all figured out and sent in my deposit! Going to the San Marcos campus! Thank goodness i dont have add an extra 30 minutes to my commute to get to Temecula!! yay! good luck to you all and hopefully ill see you in Jan!
  8. I tried calculating both gpas but I don't remember exactly what they were, and when I tried calculating them I wasn't sure if I should have converted the quarter units to semester units but both were around 3.5 regardless and and teasI i got an 89 raw score and depending on how they calculated those gpas I had anywhere from 33 to 37 on the point scale. Btw sorry typings all messed up im on my phone
  9. its actually the gen chem lab (kinda embarassing, but i swear it was really hard at UCSD! lol) and yes, for the pre nursing core. Im sure you will hear soon, its still very early!!
  10. Ya I took a much harder version of this class at UCSD and got a c- so I have to retake it. I applied I think late august and took the teas august too
  11. Congrats! well sounds like i might be able to switch, so maybe ill be seeing you this January! Ill keep you posted, in the meantime just waiting for Jay to call me back!
  12. I got "conditionally" admitted! So i guess that means if i pass my chem lab course, I'm in. waiting on sending my deposit because I got into the Temecula campus and i live in SD so I'm currently trying to switch to the San Marcos campus, hopefully it all works out. Either way, excited on being admitted, good luck to you all!
  13. Hey all! I just got into the ABSN program in Temecula for this fall, but im wondering if any of you switched campuses, and if it would be possible for me to switch campuses?
  14. Hey all, I'm in the process of applying right now for Spring 2012 in san marcos, i just sent in my TEAS and app + app fee. I have two of my transcripts and just waiting on one more to send them all in! Hopefully I'm not too late in applying, i know its a rolling application process... i guess we'll see!!
  15. i actually got a phone call yesterday saying they wanted to push my application forward to the next step, but that they were having issues converting my science classes quarter units to semester units or something (i went to UCSD, majored in biology) and that taking Bacteriology and microbiology lab (8 units, both classes were upper division biology courses at UCSD) doesnt fullfill the microbiology requirement because they usually have people just take it at the community college... hmm.... well they said theyd look into it and call me back early today, but havent...Im a little frustrated if you cant tell... anybody else have issues like this?
