Just reaching out to other fellow nursing students who applied for this coming Fall 2011 ABSN program at Mount Saint Mary's (Los Angeles)...I completed my application a few weeks ago.

those taking the math test on the 7th of july...excited to meet some of you then. anyone taking bioethics with taylor this summer?

I'll see you 7/7! Did you guys receive the packet already? I mailed in my deposit a while ago and haven't received the packet yet. I didn't know 8/15 was orientation for example. When's the semester start date?

I'll be taking the exam on the 7th also..see you then...Regarding bioethics, I'm going to take it ----. Just waiting for my funds to come in haha. Hopefully by this friday I can get started. Right now I'm preoccupied with the immunizations.

I haven't recieved my welcome packet either. School starts on Mon 8/22. I'll see you on 7/7!

Dandan, I read earlier that you went to LATCC. Did you take Bio 20 by any chance?

I did take Bio 20 there! I took it this past fall. When did you take it? I'm so glad I took anatomy/physiology together.

I was informed by the Nursing Dept earlier this week that this upcoming Friday, July 1, was actually the deadline to turn in deposits and that they would pull from the list after this date.....got me a little confused because I had been seeing June 24 as the deposit deadline throughout this thread. Maybe there are diff deadlines depending on when you receive the letter? Can anyone who was accepted confirm this?

The email that I recently received stated this, " I apologize if this is your first notification, we've experienced challenges beyond our control this admissions period. For this reason I'd like to clear up some information that is circulating.

Most of you should have received your admission packet. Once you receive it you are required to accept admission and return a tuition deposit. There are two different deposit deadlines. If your deposit due date is expired, don't worry you can still submit it by this Friday (July 1st). Once you tuition deposit I will send an information packet to you with important program information and requirements. Those who submitted your deposit by last Friday (June 24th) early morning already have a packet on the way. I will prepare for the second mailing this Friday."

I did take Bio 20 there! I took it this past fall. When did you take it? I'm so glad I took anatomy/physiology together.

I also took it last fall M-Th with R.W. I think I was one of your lab partners. We talked about applying to Mount St Mary's. You were the guy taking a whole bunch of classes. Am I right?
