Hey everyone! Just wanted to create a place for potential Motlow Nursing students for fall 2014 to converse, ask questions, and get to know each other. Anyone out there? If so, which campus do you hope to attend? I live near Lavergne, so Smyrna campus will be my home base.
For those of you who have questions about the process over the next 6 months, I went through all of the application/acceptance/orientation/etc steps last year, but had to withdraw 3 weeks before classes started due to a financial aid fiasco...so I know what's to come and would be glad to clarify anything for you.

Has anyone completed their Drug Screen? If so, can anyone give suggestions on where to go to get it completed? I did not get a list of collection sites from applicationstation.com :-(

I highly suggest making an appt. If it's anything like the office in Nashville, you could be waiting 2+ hours without one. Those places are crazy busy.

I went there yesterday ( Murfreesboro location) around 11 am and I waited 45 min to get in, and 5 min to do the test. I think it is not bad at all. Also don't forget to call the 800 number on the sheet within one hour to register you test.
I went to the Murfreesboro location as well around noon a few days ago. The whole waiting room was full, but my suggestion is maybe not to go during lunch hour like I did!
So...this is sort of a minor detail, but what type of uniform shoes is everyone buying? I keep seeing these white croc/clog looking things that don't seem comfortable at all.

I bought new balance from Amazon, they're super comfortable
Uh oh, I never called the 800 #....what now?? It's been 2 weeks since I took the drug test, I did receive my pass email, what should I do??
I would email Allison Barton right away. If you got your results back, I'm sure that means you're good to go...but I would definitely check with her anyway to make sure that doesn't put a kink in the processing in any way.
