  1. I gathered the same thing from the orientation....4 days, but schedule seems like 3.
  2. One more question......I have sent an email regarding this a week ago and haven't gotten any feedback yet, so I thought maybe someone on here would know. Regarding loans, if you receive the pell grant to cover your class fees, and ALSO apply for the maximum loan you are elligible for ( in my case, freshman classification)....am I guaranteed to receive that loan? Or is it a maybe? The reason I am so very anxious to know the answer is because I'm waiting to turn in my notice at my part time job...it all hangs on this loan. If I don't receive it, I can't quit.....and I would love to turn it in now! I don't want to wait til the last minute and not be able to give a 2 weeks notice, this has me so stressed.
  3. Let me clarify that I meant to say 3 or 4 DAYS PER WEEK of class!! Monday and Wednesday of lecture and one more day for lab/clinical? That equals 3 days total, or am I missing something?
  4. So, do we have 3 or 4 classes on campus? I was thinking 4, but it looks like 3 (minus online).
  5. Should we wait to purchase texts? What texts are you guys purchasing prior to classes starting? I am also curious for anyone who has taken Dosage online if we NEED the text? Also, for the online Nurs 1400, wonder if the text is necessary? I'm guessing yes, but wanted to get some opinions. I feel like I need to take out a 2nd mortgage to pay for all this Of course, I'm still extremely excited!!
  6. Does anyone know if the FAFSA grants have been awarded yet? I have not seen anything and I check constantly!!
  7. Thank you!! I emailed her, hopefully I haven't messed anything up
  8. So...this is sort of a minor detail, but what type of uniform shoes is everyone buying? I keep seeing these white croc/clog looking things that don't seem comfortable at all.
  9. Uh oh, I never called the 800 #....what now?? It's been 2 weeks since I took the drug test, I did receive my pass email, what should I do??
  10. Anyone else having trouble in MyRecordTracker getting the option to ACCEPT terms of service when trying to sign up for an account?? It only gives me the option to NOT agree and of course, then I cannot proceed any further. I have been trying for 15 minutes and it will not light that little circle up so I can click on it!!!!!!
  11. Simple question here...Shoes...are there specifics on shoes or just plain white leather? What if the sole has a little light gray stripe...or what if there is some mesh on the toe, like most have?? I am so stressed over the tiniest little details.
  12. Ugh...wish I would've known about it...but I will definitley remember for next time. Thank you!!!
  13. Would anyone here know about what types of scholarships I can still apply for? Being 38 and doing all this for the first time on my own, I had no clue that I could apply for other assistance besides the fafsa pell grant I am already receiving! I really need some additional help and have no idea how to go about doing it. I know at the orientation, she mentioned that a lot of scholarships are already closed, but are there any still available? Sorry to be so clueless! BTW...I am the "soccer mom" (lol) and will be at Smyrna campus!
  14. I am 38 and will be starting this fall!! I have a little tug of regret I did not do it before now...but knowing myself, this is the way it should be and I am glad.
  15. I have orientation this coming Friday and I received an email stating I would have the opportunity to purchase stethescopes, pin lights, scrubs, etc...at orientation. My question is, would I be better off purchasing all these things on my own if I am looking to save money? What are the best ways to save on these supplies?
