Hey everyone! Just wanted to create a place for potential Motlow Nursing students for fall 2014 to converse, ask questions, and get to know each other. Anyone out there? If so, which campus do you hope to attend? I live near Lavergne, so Smyrna campus will be my home base.
For those of you who have questions about the process over the next 6 months, I went through all of the application/acceptance/orientation/etc steps last year, but had to withdraw 3 weeks before classes started due to a financial aid fiasco...so I know what's to come and would be glad to clarify anything for you.

Is anyone enrolled in Dosage Calculations Online? I checked the required text books and it reads: "Pick only 1 of the following 2 choices" What does that mean? Of course I'm inclined to take the cheaper option but wondering if I'm missing something here?

Hi, can anyone who is going to Motlow give me insight on the selection criteria? I've read that the hesi score is emphasized more than gpa. I currently have a 2.7 gpa with a (w) and a several repeats in anatomy. I wanted to know what the average acceptance rate is for those with a low gpa and a high hesi score? i'm based in california and plan to relocate to tn in less than two years. thank you
Honestly, motlows program is extremely competitive. You would need to bring up your GPA to as close to a 4 as possible. Then it also depends on your Hesi score.
thanks Melissa0427 . how competitive is the school? Has anyone got in with a 3.0 gpa and a 97% Hesi score? i still need to retake my science classes and math to bring my gpa up. also for the lvn-rn bridge do you need 1 year work experience as a lvn?
