this is all almost too horrible for words. i am just so shocked and sickened. as nurses, though, we need to be aware so we can help any patients we might encounter with these problems.

is morgellons disease caused by chemtrail spraying?

by ted twietmeyer

5-14-6 obstacles to curing the disease the outbreak in south texas which made big news recently has thus far provided no answers as to the source of the disease. there is a wall which exists in the science community, which is as difficult as climbing mt. everest for scientists thinking "outside the box." scientists are inherently bound by peer review and the very culture that awards them their doctorates, to stay away from so-called "fringe sciences." this very mindset makes solving the source of this disease nearly impossible

there is also the ever present pharmaceutical market problem. big pharma will ignore any "treatment market" that isn't worth hundreds of millions to billions of dollars. and of course, the word "cure" when uttered by a doctor is akin to blaspheming god. it is never uttered or even thought about, even behind closed doors. instead, the word "treatment" is always used.

chemtrails as a possible source? since the only treatment that has been known to work is a very long term antibiotic therapy, this strongly suggests morgellons fibers under 60x magnification [1]

in the above images, we can see that many of the fiber sizes are the same, since both samples are under the same magnification. www.data4science.net

wsvn -- meet kathy jimenez. her life is a nightmare.

kathy: "all my friends thought i was crazy. i lost all my friends."

meet susan hammer. her life has been destroyed.

susan: "it's just drained me. it's quite humiliating."

two women with one thing in common.

jose jimenez: "and she really has real bugs -- she has flies, ticks, nymphs. all sorts of strange bugs."

you heard him correctly. clean, healthy people have bugs coming out of their body.

for information about haarp, check out wikipedia or do an internet search. there were lots of good web sites. i couldn't choose just one. :uhoh3::uhoh21:

First you have to prove "chemtrails", which is a hilarious concept in itself, and then prove that they cause this "disease", which was first described hundreds of years before aeroplanes were invented.

In short: Hahaha.

Oh Lordie...I just googled chemtrails....

I'm actually at a loss for words.:uhoh21:

"according to marine turbine engineer jay reynolds, the most notable chemtrail debunker: "if you pass almost any chemical through a gas turbine engine, the combustion temperature is like 2000 degrees. nothing survives: it's an incinerator."

the people who believe the chemtrail stuff think that the chemicals are sprayed through a different device, from what i understand. the contrails and chemtrails are argued to be different. imo, the op shouldn't have posted both about chemtrails and morgellons when both are fairly unknown to most people.

I'd have to go poking through my old school notes (or play with Google), but I seem to remember Morgellon's as not a physical disease, but a mental disorder...?

Wasn't this the one where the "physical evidence" was always considered bogus by medical professionals....and antipsychotic drugs "cured" the problem?

If I'm confusing this with something else, I apologize, but this sounds like it.

You are correct. Most Doctors will diagnose these people with delusional parasitosis and prescribe psychoactive drugs to treat it. However, there are really two sides to the story. The people that claim to have morgellons disease very strongly deny having delusional parasitosis. Which makes sense to the doctor because they think it's part of that condition. It's kinda similar to someone diagnoised with an easting disorder and trying to say they don't have it. It's hard to get people to believe you when anything you say is just part of your condition.

It's really hard to know what evidence is accurate because a majority of these tests on fibers are done by private individuals or small groups. From what I heard though, the fibers contain some really strange qualities. Appearently, some doctors removed some of the fibers from their patients' skin and sent it to the FBI's fiber analysis unit (forgot the exact name) and they found no matches when compared to 800 fibers.

I just hope that professionals are objective about this and not jump to conclusions. The frustration these people get when their doctor says they are delusional is immense, and what if there really is something going on and they aren't "delusional".

I really feel for these people who are going through this mess. When I was 18, I had an extremely itchy rash all over my chest, stomach, and legs. I went to 2 different doctors about this condition. They both told me that it must be a stress reaction. I was written prescriptions for Tagamet (to control histamine without making me drowsy) and Zoloft. I suffered with this for 2 months with no improvement.

I took my puppy into the Vet for his shots and the Vet noticed a small rash under his armpit. The Vet Scraped a slide across the area and sure enough, the puppy had sarcoptic mange! Not the usual case where all the hair falls out and it's really obvious, but enough. I asked the Vet if there was anyway people could catch this, and she said that it was rare, but possible. I showed her my rash, and she collected a slide from me as well. Well, I did have mange. She fixed the slide and stuck it in an envelope with a note for me to take to my doctor to get treated properly. For 2 months I suffered with this while doctors basically told me it was all in my head. I'm just gratefull that I got an answer and relief so quickly compaired to these others.

I am new to this forum and I hope I can make some contribution to the group.

I have studied Morgellons for over a year now and believe this to be a real and very serious emerging disease. I have spoke to dozens of health-care professionals and those who really look closely will see that Morgellons is not delusional, it is real and unbelievable at the same time. Probably the worst lesions I have seen were at http://brandytwirl.multiply.com/photos/album/1 Please ignore the reference to a product, but just look at these lesions. The interesting thing about them is that when they are biopsied, there are no detectable bacteria or viruses of any kind present. The Morgellons victims claim that their lesions never heal and itch relentlessly.

Not much is known about Morgellons yet, but it is reported that the number one group of people infected are nurses, followed by teachers. Whatever this is, it needs to be studied closely.

Blessings to all!

I followed the link. Nothing interesting or unusual about the lesions. It just looks like a bunch of scabs. And the pictures of "fibers"; that looks like cotton ball fuzzies.

I have to say, having looked into this a bit since this thread emerged, that I disagree. Everything I've seen seems to uphold the "mental illness" theory, rather than a true "disease". Because people have held these claims for a long time does not give it veracity, it only means that X number of people hold the same symptoms of the same illness. One only has to look at ANY such illness (that is mental in nature, not physically substantiated) and find this to be the case. Munchaussen's has been linked to this phenomenon for obvious reasons. Because someone wholeheartedly believes themselves to be physically ill does not make them so: sometimes, it makes them delusional.

I also don't find this to be an "emerging" disease. With documentation as far back as the late 1600's, I doubt anyone could call this "new". Again, because it has been claimed to be real for this long does not make it so. It means that those who hold to that particular delusion are finding those who encourage it in them. Whether they honestly, originally felt the crawling sensations (and therefore pick at their skins mercilessly until they create wounds) or they have other symptoms and latch onto the ones that get the most attention, I can't say.

I can say that there's no evidence to support the claim that the wounds "never heal". If I were to pick at my skin routinely, I can assure you I, too, would have similar-looking lesions. Therefore, I am not at all surprised that when biopsied, such lesions show no bacteria or viruses to substantiate the claims. Further evidence of mental illness, not physical disease.

Ah, one thing I forgot to mention about those photos on the website link: I noticed in many of the pictures (of obviously the same person) the woman had fake nails applied. You can see a nasty open wound, pustule type thing on it, immediately next to the acrylic thumbnail.

Makes me think of who might be working on such infected hands, willing to put nails on infected nailbeds. And then how those manicure instruments might be handled for the next person.

Ick.

... IMO, the OP shouldn't have posted both about chemtrails and morgellons when both are fairly unknown to most people.

Gee, according to that view, we should post only about things that are fairly known to most people. Please define "fairly" and "most". Then tell me how you propose to determine whether a topic meets the criteria. More importantly, please state how you expect humankind to progress if we should only discuss matters that are "fairly" known to "most" people.:uhoh3: :uhoh21:

Maybe they're picking at them because they itch relentlessly.

Maybe the lack of microbes is because the right culture techniques are not being used.

Just because a doctor can't find a microbe does not mean that a problem does not exist. Just recall a little history of Medicine to see the truth of that.

Just because someone is paranoid doesn't mean no one is out to get him.

Let's keep an open mind on this. How do you explain the fibers that come out of these lesions?

There is something going on.

Oh, also, perhaps the most important things from Brandywine (mentioned above) - silver seems to cure. Silver, getting rid of sugar, eating plenty of fresh, healthy, raw vegetables = CURE and/or CONTROL of horrible signs and symptoms.
