Montgomery College Fall 2014

Hey everyone,

I thought I would start a thread for everyone who has applied at MC for this fall 2014. The deadline was this Tuesday April 1, 2014. I have brought in my application last Friday.

So for anyone else who has applied, has been accepted or has any other contributions please share with us!

I was starting to get worried... Lol. I live in silver spring off of montrose road. Not too far from Germantown. I feel a little better now that I am not the only one! I am going to burst if I don't hear something soon

The postmark on my envelope was from yesterday 6/2. Maybe tomorrow. I also live in bethesda.

Hopefully we will get something tomorrow. I wonder if rejection letters are sent out around the same time acceptance letters are. I just need to know, every minute feels like a million years:down:

I think all the letters are sent out.. rejection, wait list and acceptance. I was thinking that maybe it did not go out until Monday..That makes sense. If the postmark was 6/2 then it is very reasonable to expect it tomorrow. It feels like a million years to me as well. I did pretty good on the TEAS (84%) and I finished all my prerequisites but my anatomy and physiology class was 7 years ago so unfortunately I am stuck taking a pathophysiology class this summer to refresh my AP 1 & 2 so hopefully that is good enough. I am just so impatient!!! uuugh! Good luck!

I also live in Germantown and I didn't get anything today. I'll be working tomorrow and Thursday. Does anyone know what happens if you're not home to accept it? (that is if I get in)

I've been waiting every single day since May. I'm dying to know already! Congrats to everyone who made it.

Yes.. Congrats. I think they will leave a notice in your mailbox letting you know you have a letter that needs to be signed for.

Same as above...Congrats to all who got in!! I didn't do very well on my TEAS (71%) but I do have all of my pre-req's and a 4.0 GPA not sure if that will help at all considering my low TEAS score. I am already studying to retake it, and reapply for spring 2015 if I don't get in.

Gosh.... I see a lot if people with 4.0 GPA's. I thought mine was okay (3.45) but I guess I should work a little harder . I guess that's what six kids will do to you!

Wow! your a busy mommy, and 3.45 is more than an okay GPA! Hope we hear something tomorrow:geek:

My TEAS score was 84% overall with 92% in Reading. I also had a GPA 4.0. But I was short one priority; A&P II. So not having completed all 4 priority courses is probably why I got put on "Stand-by". Also, I live in Germantown.
