Montgomery College Fall 2014

Hey everyone,

I thought I would start a thread for everyone who has applied at MC for this fall 2014. The deadline was this Tuesday April 1, 2014. I have brought in my application last Friday.

So for anyone else who has applied, has been accepted or has any other contributions please share with us!

So did anyone hear anything today? I'm looking for the mail man with my screen door open even though it looks like bad weather is coming..... I don't think any rain will get into the house :)...lol

Nope, nothing yet. UPS rang the door bell around the same time our mail man comes, and my heart skipped a beat; I almost killed my self running down the stairs to open the door:(.

I called the school an they said it was mailed out Friday.... I did not get it today but hopefully tomorrow... I am so glad to know that I am not the only one watching at my frint window for the mailman. When she sai they made it out Friday I was worried about why I had not received it yet but it looks like I am not the only one !!

This anxiety is killing me

I received my letter today (reg. mail) that says I have been put on "stand-by" and that my status will change to "accepted" when a seat becomes available. The letter also states that I will have priority placement for Spring 2015. Also, I still have to go to orientation and complete all of the listed requirements before July 21st; CPR, criminal check, physical exam etc. I wonder when I will have to wait until? Is there anyone who definitely did not get it today?? I am starting to wonder why I did not get mine yet as I don't live very far from the school.

@aar, If is not too much indiscretion. what was your score in the TEAS test?

Hi, I too applied for Fall 2014. My letter came today and I got in. I live in downtown Bethesda so maybe because I'm close to school I got it earlier. Good luck everyone!

If you don't mind me asking.. what was your teas score and did you finish all of your prerequisites? Did you get your letter regular or certified mail?

I have a bachelors degree, I believe I got a 75 on the Teas, and I had completed all the pre reqs, and then some. (Micro, stat, the two a&p, chem) can't remember what else. The letter comes certified mail, but I missed my mail lady, and had to chase her down!
