Montgomery College Fall 2014

Hi everyone! I've applied for MC Fall 2014, too. Good luck to all of us! I'm so beyond nervous, because I have A&P I and Eng 102, but my A&P II and Math 110 are still in progress, so they won't count this time. I do meet all minimum requirements, but I've heard that won't get you in. My only saving grace is that my TEAS score was 84% and my Reading TEAS was 90.5%, so I'm still hoping. Either way, I'll have all four priorities done and my TEAS scores in time for the August deadline if I don't get it this time, but I'd love to start in the fall. I know they told me that we'd know in the first week of June, but I've heard of people finding out by mid-May. Does anyone know when we could realistically start receiving letters? I still live in PA until this July when I move down to MD, so I'll probably be the last to know.

Thank you for the well wishes! I hope you get accepted at MC and that your schedule works out fine. I know a couple of people who do clinicals at Holy Cross so maybe I can ask them about their typical schedule when I volunteer next week.

I think as long as you have the minimum requirements your chances are still high. I would think you should hear back the same time that we do even though you are out of state. We'll keep each other posted and I hope you hear back when we do!

Hi everyone! Hope we'll be hearing back soon!!

I wanted to make a post about a note taking software I just started playing with that I LOVE. It's called Evernote and it's free and you can use it on any device (Android, iOS, web) It's a really nice way to organize photos, notes, youtube vids, etc. in folders and add in your profs (or your own) audio recordings. It also makes your notes really easy to share since you can always have your copy and share to others if they ask.

Okay, done raving about it . Thought I'd share because it seems like it would be really helpful for school!

I too submitted my application for fall 2014. I am currently in AP1 and have all the prereqs and got an 85 on my TEAS. Good luck to you and I hope we here soon!

Last year people were getting their letters at the beginning of the month but it seems as if this year we may actually get a response at the end of the month as officially stated. I would have liked to have received it today but the mail man walked right past me just now.....

yes, if i am not accepted this semester I will just take the extra courses this summer needed to be accepted to a university at shady grove (at Montgomery college) like UMSON or UMBC since I would be able to get a bachelors degree in the same amount of time that I would take for me to get an associates at Montgomery college (Montgomery college is a two year program as well).
