Greetings, I just finish applying to Montefiore School Nursing for the Spring 2019. Is there any one else also looking to attend in 2019? I'd love to hear from you.

I spoke with someone who is in N1 now and she suggested that we get the new Fundamentals text book because the code that's In the book we use to help us study. she also said the book for calculations can be brought used.

They should put textbooks on sale for Black Friday í ¾í´”

Thank you so much

Has anyone bought the books yet? Do we need access codes for all of them?

In n1 it's good to have access codes because it gives you access to practice questions which is super important..

I understand and agree. What I'm wondering is if we need access codes to all the books or just the fundamentals' book?

So, how was the first semester?! Someone fill me in lol

@Brooklyn_nursing26 I’m applying to enter spring 2020. I am curious on how it’s turned out for you and where did you go to take the pre requisites. I’m having issues on what’s the best route. I tried Concordia but it’s $120,000 dollars. Omg. Any advice would help thank you

Can anyone give me info on where to go to get the pre requisites for the ADN program. I want to apply to Monte for spring 2020. I’m pregnant so I want to get some stuff out the way while I’m waiting. Any advice on where to go? Thanks so much

Hi!

I took all my required classes at Lehman College. You only need chemistry to apply to Monte and the other classes you can take while in the program. I wouldn't recommend that at all. Some of my classmates did that and now some are taking 2-3 classes this summer. I see how it causes a lot of stress. Many people are in a rush but better to take your time and reduce your stress level. Of course it can be done but it's not something I would do (and I didn't). Nursing 1 has a lot of Anatomy & Physiology and even Microbiology so taking N1 without these sciences is really tough. Many of my classmates are taking the other classes at Cayuga Comm College as I believe they have a lot of the science classes online but I cannot speak to how good this school. Good luck and feel free to ask more questions!

Everything went well lol A lot of reading, exams, the expected usual. It got very tough at the end because between lecture, lab, and finals, there were about 4-5 exams in one month, a group presentation, and other assignments due. I don't think anyone slept that month but it's over and now onto N2... lol
