  1. I got a 79 and received an acceptance. All pre-reqs completed with good grades and GPA. Last time I spoke with someone at the school, they said they pick the top 40 Kaplan scores. Apparently if multiple people have the same grade, then that’s when they factor in your GPA, pre reqs etc. Interesting selection process to say the least. I am deferring my seat, so I pray one of you guys who are still waiting will get an acceptance soon!!
  2. Yes, I will defer my seat instead of declining. Thank you all for the suggestion. Congratulations to the rest of you who also got accepted! To those who are still waiting, me and I’m sure others will defer/decline their seats and they should have more seats available. Out of curiosity, do they even send out waiting lists? Bittersweet to get declined then get a call a week or two later with an acceptance lol God is always in control. Keep the faith!
  3. Wow, been a while guys. Great news, I just received my acceptance email! Bad news, I may have to decline my seat. ?
  4. I believe Aug 12th was the last date for early applicants. Application deadline is in September, so I am sure they're going to have new test dates for applicants who haven't tested yet. Testing most likely going to continue until October. We should get a decision sometime in November like previous years.
  5. I think it's the same test for everyone. I've read some people took the Kaplan at a different school and Montefiore, and apparently it was the same questions.
  6. There is a set timer for each section. You will be able to see it to keep track of your time when answering questions. I took off my apple watch and put it in my book bag just in case if someone called/texted me. I didn't want to be accused of cheating ?
  7. Yep! Definitely had a few questions like this
  8. Honestly if you're going to pick a poison, please do not allow it to be reading! I'm not sure how good you are with writing but it was honestly hard. I knew this before going into the exam though, so I made sure to go hard for the science. I personally did not study for reading/math, but I wish I did. I got 4 questions wrong in the reading and math section. One more correct answer for either section, then boom my overall grade would be 80+ instead of the 79. Oh well lol
  9. I agree! Been a while I practiced dosage questions and I totally forgot to go over them. I got 24/28 in math so I'm sure I got those wrong
  10. The test was very fair and not bad at all. You're going to be good ? Pay attention to the time for each section and don't spend too much time on one question. You can always go back to a question within a section if you have time left
  11. Definitely use quizlet. I searched up each system and printed them out to study. I'm also going to copy and paste what @Brooklyn_nursing26 said on the Spring 2019 thread because it was on point and I literally used that as guidance
