Monroe College in Bronx ny

Published

I recently got accepted to Monroe College for the fall 2020 nursing program, I haven’t seen recent reviews about the school and I want to make sure I’m making the right decision. Has anyone attended the school, or graduated?

Im not looking to put all my eggs into one basket so I’m still applying for other schools as well.

Thank you :)

Thanks for your reply! I reached out to the school but I'm still having difficulties understanding their schedule and the number of classes I would need since I am an LPN already.

@Nur-101

whoops sorry I forgot to attach the picture on my response. These are all the classes needed. Hope this is helpful

Thank you so much! This is what I was looking for. I appreciate your help.

Is there an evening program for the RN degree?

There is an evening option for part-time students doing LPN - RN . I'm not sure about RN only.

Hey y'all

For the people who are in the traditional BSN and ABSN program, how is it going so far?

How was the application and acceptance process? What was your turn around time from you applied to being accepted?

Does anyone know if Monroe College allows students who already have a B.S degree to transfer into the traditional BSN program?

What is the tuition for the nursing program?

Hi there, I can only give you some informations.

- Some of us here are going into the Progressive program this September 2020, so I don’t know who else going to traditional BSN and how it’s going but I believe they would do the same courses as we do.
- The application and acceptance process to me was very quick, after you got accepted you need to have an interview as some of us here were talking before from previous comments.

- You can transfer some credits from your B.S. degree but they wouldn’t allow you to go into traditional program. You can go for an accelerated program which takes much shorter time than the Progressive.
- Tuition is about 9,xxx per semester

Hope this helps ?

Hi everyone! I wanted to reach out to see if anyone has purchased their professional yet. I am about to purchase and if anyone can help me with what is the anticipated graduation date for the LPN portion. I know it’s sometime in May but not sure the exact date. Anyone know?

Hey @Chrismwhyte, I asked the dean this question and she said the LPN program ends on August 2021. So that’s what I put it for.

On the class schedule towards the right of it stating “Ant Cmpl Date” Is that date of completion of the LPN program?

The LPN program is only a year. Graduation for it should be in 2021, unless your doing it part time and it will take you two years.

Even if I already took all my prerequisites already before? I’m a bit confused
