Monroe College in Bronx ny

I recently got accepted to Monroe College for the fall 2020 nursing program, I haven’t seen recent reviews about the school and I want to make sure I’m making the right decision. Has anyone attended the school, or graduated?

Im not looking to put all my eggs into one basket so I’m still applying for other schools as well.

I just wasn’t sure about submit it via email but I saw that info on the to-do-list as well, thanks Nelly!
I also got an email from school said I will not get an username and password until a couple of days before classes begin and I am still on hold which I don’t know what it is. However, they register classes for me. That’s all I know.

I got my username and password already and email. The only thing I can access is blackboard but they said the same thing. That I will be able to log in a couple days before school starts. I finally got my schedule yesterday and ordered my uniform today ?? Just have to hand in the paper work.

I haven’t gotten anything email, username or schedule. That’s too bad ?. I’m almost done with my health forms.

I received my username and password but I haven’t received my schedule yet because they had to do redo my financial aid break down and it’s finally done so I should receive my schedule tomorrow.
I’m still also waiting for my uniform to be delivered and I have a upcoming appointment for my forms to be filled out.

And don’t forget! to purchase the supplies and getting your BLS certification if you haven’t.

I can’t believe this month is already flying and before you know it we’ll be starting school!
mom purchasing the supplies today! Did anyone get anything about books we need for class?

Also I’m curious did any of you get the flu shot, I’m so hesitant especially during these times. I went online and it says nothing about it being mandatory. Just the MMR & Meningitis vaccination, which I already have.

and obviously we’re going to get it once we’re in the health care environment and I’m not one of those people that are against it ? it’s just that everytime I get the shot I get sick for like a month and don’t want to weaken my immune system especially during this pandemic. What are your thoughts?

I have my own opinion about flu vaccines but that’s a WHOLE other story.
I just received my schedule, I was told that 2 classes I’ll be taking will be online and other 2 are In person. Does anyone else have the same?

I can’t believe it either, time flies so fast. I’m starting to get a bit anxious now LOL. Classes start less than a month away!

Yea I received mine too and I am only on campus on Tuesdays. The rest is virtual. Is everybody a full time student?

Why everyone here already had their schedules and I’m still the one who has nothing. I should know my schedule before the school starts but they didn’t give me anything.
About the flu shot if you have it last year it should be fine, my doctor’s office doesn’t give it to me this year because they said it’s not coming yet.

Yea that’s exactly what my Dr. said about the flu shot. I just have to bring paper in to fill out form. Did you finish speaking to a financial advisor? If you did I would try reaching out to your admissions advisor or calling Monroe directly. They seem so busy due to Covid 19.

@Chrismwhyte I’m full time, I took all of my prerequisite in cuny so my classes now aren’t so much. Thank God.

@didibeloved They did the same to me, I had to consistently call, leave messages and send emails until they finally got back to me..I was getting so upset but they eventually came through. Just keep calling, leaving messages, and emails because it isn’t far to you to wait this long.
