Monroe College in Bronx ny

I recently got accepted to Monroe College for the fall 2020 nursing program, I haven’t seen recent reviews about the school and I want to make sure I’m making the right decision. Has anyone attended the school, or graduated?

Im not looking to put all my eggs into one basket so I’m still applying for other schools as well.

Haha the bright color shirt is a great idea! I received my school email already. As per classes. They had me on hold due to having to open more classes because they wanted to keep the classes small. But I will be good to go tomorrow.

I haven’t received my schedule yet, the financial aid advisor is still calculating my FAFSA, pell and grants so I’m still waiting for the breakdown as well as my schedule. I’m becoming a bit impatient because classes start soon but I know they’re busy because of Covid.

I like that idea with bright ? LOL! I hope they won’t announce to wear the scrubs on the orientation day which I believe it’s on the first day of school otherwise we all look the same.

May I ask which program you’re in? I’m in progressive and my scrub top is maroon color. I guess they have different colors for different programs.

@Joyonelittle I literally just went through the same thing! I was getting impatient also but thank God finally I get to register for classes tomorrow. Hoping the same goes for you too ASAP! I still haven’t even gotten my scrubs ??‍♀️ Lord.

I’m in progressive program and that’s my uniform also.

@Nelly Lozano Thank you! I’m definitely going to email and call them again until they respond. I haven’t purchased my uniform yet either ? I’m definitely visiting the store tomorrow! And we also have to buy the pen light, stethoscope, watch and bandage scissors which I haven’t done yet. ??‍♀️

Hello fellow future nurses!

I just got back from the store. I was informed that they don’t carry the actual uniforms in the store but I was allowed to try on sizes, place an order, then purchase it and it will available for pickup or you can have it delivered.

I will say, the uniforms runs big.. at least for me. I usually wear a medium and when I tried on the medium Scrubs tops and bottoms they were big on me..so just keep that under consideration.
