I recently got accepted to Monroe College for the fall 2020 nursing program, I haven’t seen recent reviews about the school and I want to make sure I’m making the right decision. Has anyone attended the school, or graduated?
Im not looking to put all my eggs into one basket so I’m still applying for other schools as well.
Thank you :)
I have to go to campus one day a week for my fundamental class and dosage calculation because it’s split half virtual and half in person. I already took A+P 1&2, psychology, college writing, & Micro at my previous school.
@Chrismwhyte I’ll be on campus on Tuesday too!
@didibeloved what I did was CC the Vice President on my emails LOL so I wasn’t ignored ? and CC Inez Nieves too, she’s so nice and gets back to her students very fast.
@Nelly Lozano it’s Nieves who answered those info to me. It’s like switching back and forth with her and my advisor. So, I guess next time I’ll CC the VP definitely ?
So is it 2 classes you are taking this semester @Nelly Lozano?
I probably have the same classes with all of you because I took all science classes from previous school.
If I signed the estimated financial aid paper that means my financial should be done right?
@didibeloved yes I’m taking only 2 classes. And I believe so, I would reach out to financial aid just to make sure.
These are the classes that are needed for the traditional program. I would speak with your advisor about the classes you need and see what time are available and if there are spots available especially since we’re getting close to the start of the Fall semester. If you are already a student with your school email and password. What I did was search up the classes and see what times were available and bring it to their attention what works best for you and maybe they can work with you. The program is cohort. So they’re very strict with keeping everyone on the same flow. So any changes you want to make, for example taking a class that’s not for the specific semester needs to be brought up to the VP and approved. Lots of students are having this issue and wanting to be full time. Doesn’t hurt to ask to be approved in a class. Good luck!
