Monroe College in Bronx ny

Published

I recently got accepted to Monroe College for the fall 2020 nursing program, I haven’t seen recent reviews about the school and I want to make sure I’m making the right decision. Has anyone attended the school, or graduated?

Im not looking to put all my eggs into one basket so I’m still applying for other schools as well.

Thank you :)

Hi guys,

I just wanted to know if anyone had an interview via Phone (not Zoom)? Because someone just called me and said the interview is gonna be via phone and I have no idea y is that.

Oh OK. Do they ever offer more than one section of a class? For example, so some people can take night classes if need be. Or is your schedule always set & chosen. Sorry if my questions are redundant. Just trying to get an understanding

I also recently got a call and they told me I have a phone interview. How did yours go? mines soon. If you haven’t done it yet good luck & you got this.

Congratulations on your acceptance. I am also starting the Progressive track on January 8th. I have received my class schedule already, however I have not received the to do list yet. I know we will be having an orientation soon, maybe we'll receive it hopefully by then.

Hi All,

I just received the to do list for winter2021 progressive nursing program. I almost completed everything but I was wondering where can we do the “10 Panel Drug Screen”? Is it through castle branch or  can we go any other place?

I am almost finished as well. I am getting mines done hopefully with lab Corp, if you live near the school you can pay $40 for the drug screening form and have it done at lab Corp. I just have to get the and apply to the NSNA. I am at the clinic now getting my physical.

You can go anywhere that works for you. I went to my primary care provider that I’ve been to for years.

I guess it depends on where you live, I know the clinics in Brooklyn wanted the drug testing form e-passport form. My primary was booked until February, besides I just had a physical done a couple of months ago.

Since you are finishing up your semester how is it so far? Are you able to work? I am a Patient tech in the hospital and want to keep my job since I don't have financial aid?
