I recently got accepted to Monroe College for the fall 2020 nursing program, I haven’t seen recent reviews about the school and I want to make sure I’m making the right decision. Has anyone attended the school, or graduated?
Im not looking to put all my eggs into one basket so I’m still applying for other schools as well.
Thank you :)
Oh WOW! that’s great! Definitely going to get different bottoms. What’s everyone’s schedule like? I’m going to be on campus only on Tuesdays. Also, might be a dumb question but what is the parking situation for the Bronx campus? The one time I visited for a nursing session I was late and ended up parking on the street and then got a ticket LOL.
@Joyonelittle OMG so sorry, the same happened to me, I ordered everything (which I still haven’t gotten in the mail). And I’m going back to return the bottoms because I wasn’t so crazy about them.
@Jen_rod I’m going to be on campus Tuesday as well. And as far as parking. There is no lot, you can park on the street or parking garage across the street which doesn’t have any student discount. Bronx parking is going to be horrendous LOL.
@Nelly Lozano No worries hun, I wasn’t blaming you I just wish it didn’t say it was Mandatory on our uniforms list. I actually was able to pick mine up now and return the bottoms. Thank you for let’s us know we can purchase other brands of bottoms, I really appreciate it! ?
@Joyonelittle yeah the way they word it was weird. That’s why I asked because I REALLY didn’t want to wear the pants. I still got ones that are similar but they fit more high waisted which I was happy about.
Hi everyone,
first of all, congratulations to all for getting accepted for fall2020. I am planning to apply to Monroe college for Jan2021 intake. I just had my TEAS test today and I didn’t do so well. I got 68%. I was wondering if I will be able to get into Monroe nursing progressive nursing program with this score, Or should I retake the test? Does anyone have ideas about What’s the least TEAS score that one got into for this semester? Please suggest me if I should retake TEAS or not?
thank you so much and again congratulations.
Hello @Journeyintonursing!
Looks like you are on the proficient level which is considered passing to be able to apply to the nursing program. The TEAS exam is just one of the things they look into to consider your application or acceptance. And ofcourse how well you do in the interview process. Ofcourse the higher grade you have the better chance but I think they care more of you as a person and if you fit the culture and willing to learn. Totally up to you. Best of luck!
