Hey!
Has anyone been accepted to this Monroe college program? I know they used to have it and recently bought it back. Any thought?

Hey I got a 76, but you should be fine as long as you score on The proficient level

Who else is in the accelerated BSN program?
I am. Just got registered for classes. Taking 13 credits (Chemistry, intro to healthcare, race and ethics and advance writing) they explained something about finishing all the required prerequisites before starting the main nursing class.

@anlm93 they sent me the classes they registered me for. Taking 13 credits (intro to health care, Chemistry, race and ethics, and advance writing) they said something about completing all the required prerequisites for Monroe and then start the nursing class by fall 2021. I know you took those classes already, will need your advice on how to do well in all the class. Thank you. My email is [email protected]

Hi Recently got my rejection letter from Nassau. No seats although I scored proficient and had all A’s and Bs and finished all the sciences and Gen Eds.
last week 12/3/2020 I looked into Monroe and submitted my application, I will be meeting with an admission counselor this week. Can anyone give me details on what to expect. I read in a past post that the dean of nursing changes and policies might also change?
With a proficient score and a good GPA, your chances are very good. Keep fingers crossed and hope for the best.
Thanks. That I have, now I have to wait to speak with the advisor and they need to evaluate the routine stuff such as my Associate degree transcript, TEAS score, essay and then the interview plus wait for a decision. So I may not get in until fall. IDK because there isn’t much stuff posted on website

Yeah, you might have to wait till fall because I heard the class is currently full. Good thing you have most of the required class, you might not have to take them again.
I’m hoping for something positive because running around to diff colleges and diff requirements and rules for each is making it impossible at times and I am on brink of giving up

I could be wrong but I think you can get in for the Spring semester instead of waiting all the way for the fall....but I’m not sure

Don’t give up, there is hope. I didn’t bother applying to other schools, Monroe was perfect for me because I had all the requirements and didn’t want to stress taking the TEAS exam again; a proficient score is all you need to get in.
