Hey!
Has anyone been accepted to this Monroe college program? I know they used to have it and recently bought it back. Any thought?

OMG I’ve been looking for a thread about this.
There is not a lot of info on Monroe College ABSN program. This program VERY NEW, they currently have 1 cohort in session as of now. They have rolling admissions and there is no clear number on the amount of people they accept in each cohort. It seems very affordable when compared to other programs. I recently applied for the upcoming cohort but I haven’t taken my TEAS yet. They are accredited by ACEN which is good but I’m super iffy about it being brand new; especially since I can’t find substantial information or forums.
LOL same!! So I literally just found out about this less than 2 weeks ago. My cousin is currently in their progressive program (lpn to RN to BSN). So I was gonna apply originally for Winter but I asked about fall and was accepted! Like you said, it is VERY affordable and ACEN accredited. School starts in 2 weeks but my cousin did tell me for the fall lectures will be online and clinicals in school, I heard they got a new dean for the nursing school so I’m sure things are changing. I don’t know much either
Nice, CONGRATS on your acceptance!! Once things get going for you, can you PM on how the program is going for you please, I’m curious to know if it will be a good fit for me. how soon did you get an acceptance from when you applied?
how many people are in your cohort for Fall? how was your interview with the nursing dept? how is your cousin liking the progressive program and the school overall? did you apply to other ABSN programs?

Hello, I recently did a research and discovered Monroe college is one of the most affordable private community college in Brooklyn. I have been searching for a while, I am excited about this. I applied for the accelerated nursing program for January 2021. I have submitted all required document. Don’t know what my chances are in getting in but I am keeping my fingers crossed. Can anyone tell me what their requirements are so I can know if my chance of getting in the program is good. Also, how’s the nursing program at Monroe College? There is very little information about it online but I am not one that judges by ratings. Can anyone tell me about it. Thank you.

SOMEONE, PLEASE TELL ME HOW THEIR ACCELERATED PROGRAM IS. I READ NOTHING BUT NEGATIVE REVIEWS, HOW THIS SCHOOL IS LOOK DOWN ON AND THEY CAN'T FIND A JOB BECAUSE EMPLOYERS TAKE THIS SCHOOL AS A JOKE. TELL ME YOUR EXPERIENCE PLEASE, EMAIL ME AT [email protected]. WOULD APPRECIATE IT.
Hello, anyone attending Monroe college for the accelerated nursing program for Winter 2021? I received my admission letter and have been given my password to register. Heard I have to pay part of the fee before registering for classes. I am hoping it will be both online and in person. I want to meet other people in the same program.
Hey, I got accepted for Winter 2021 as well!

Congratulations! Have you registered for classes already? I am planning on doing full time, I heard it’s tedious and requires total concentration. I intend paying the fee in December so I should be able to register for class by then. Have you registered?
I have not officially registered for classes. I think the nursing dept makes our schedule for the program. They are holding mines until I complete financial aid process.
Hey I will be starting nursing classes in Winter 2021. I got my schedule and we have class M/W/F and clinical the other days. We were told this semester would be remote and we would be going to campus for clinical. I don’t know much more other than that

Hey, thank you. I am hoping the class will be remote and clinicals in person. I can manage that and still be able to work. How many credits are you taking this semester?
