I applied for a program through my school that is working with a local hospital. The hospital pays for my tuition and books and I am then contracted to work for them for 3 years. It is a good thing for me because I wanted to work for that hospital anyway. I had to interview for a spot in the program. Research your area and maybe ask the school. ---Kelli

Your school's financial aid office is usually a good resource for information on available scholarships and grants -- have you talked to them yet? Also, check with your state -- many states offer scholarship/grant programs designed to encourage state residents to go into nursing and other health-related careers; there may be some money available to you through something like that (my state has three different state scholarship programs for nursing -- I got $$$ from one of them to help me pay for grad school, and was able to "work off" the loan afterwards simply by working in the state (which I was going to do anyway :)) instead of paying it back -- nice deal!)
Finding funding for school can seem like a full-time job all by itself! Best wishes --
