Good morning!

I really conked out last night after not sleeping well the night before. Need to do some minor chores before taking the dogs to my brother-in-law's for him to watch for a few days while I visit the family. Will pack after that.

Will be glad to reset after working six weeks of overtime, none of which have been pleasant in med-surg hell. LOL

Supposed to be in the low 90's which isn't uncommon this time of year here in Florida but somehow I blinked and missed Spring.

Tweety~ I remember being in Florida one late Feb, early March, and a woman said to me that she just LOVES Spring .... It was 90 degrees that day. I told her that's not springtime weather, 90 degrees is Summer.

I did sleep better last night, thank goodness. I'm going to attempt to get myself on a kind of schedule....Go upstairs at 10 PM, quit reading and turn out my light by 1 AM, and setting my alarm clock for 10 AM. Since Nannie sleeps until noon or 1 PM that will give me a little 'alone' time to maybe get a few things straightened up, upstairs.

She fell asleep about 1/2 hour after breakfast, so I took advantage and slipped out to go to the bank, and then I decided I would do the grocery shopping today instead of waiting until tomorrow afternoon when SiL gets here. I went to Harris-Teeter instead of Food Lion because they don't both carry the same items that I like, and I knew they had dog food that Momo loves (salmon and lamb). She had been urping for the past day and a half and has been off her feed. She didn't even want her bedtime snack last night! I was going to call the vet, but she's been acting better today and she did eat a small amt of her breakfast. I'll wait and see how she is, and if she eats her snack tonight, I will feed her her at her usual time in the morning.

It is fast approaching 6 PM, so I am going to turn on the local news, and go up to the kitchen and make something for Nannie's supper.

Mother's Day was a quiet one. Twin A got up and asked if anyone wanted donuts, then went to the donut shop. I went to church. Gma got up when it was time to get ready to go to church, so Hubs didn't go. Twin B, of course, worked all night last night and the night before. And again tonight. Had a video call with stepdaughter.

Not sure what's for dinner tonight. I need to use or freeze the meat I bought (chicken breasts and ground beef).

Had first meeting with counselor today. Mostly her getting background info on me. She gave me some homework and made another appointment. Seemed okay, and at least, she seemed to hear me when I explained some of my triggers for getting angry.

And I had a facial today that was quite nice. I nearly fell asleep. I slept so hard last night, that when I woke up once, I forgot where I was. I guess I was still tired from my long day on Saturday. I was just now out in the yard, moved some lily-of-the-valley, and filled up the last room in the yard recycle tote. Tomorrow is garbage/recycle day.

I need to do laundry, but dh has stuff in the washer and dryer. If it's still there tomorrow, I'll take care of it. Now that he's retired, I don't care if his clothes are all wrinkly. I used to think his appearance said something about my housekeeping skills. He used to always have pressed shirts and slacks for work. Now, he mostly in t-shirts and carpenter jeans.

The temp is in the 60s today, slight breeze, quite pleasant.
