Good morning!
Joe sounds like you had a good Sunday.
Davey, enjoy your time in the art room.
I looked over some of my posts yesterday and found so many mistakes and typos. Maybe I shouldn't post after a long tiring weekend. LOL
Just got a text that bowling is canceled tonight due to an ongoing police investigation over a shooting. Will have to check the local news to see what happened.
It's already 71 here and will get into the low 80's. Supposed to have a cold front come in this weekend.
Not sure what I'll get into since bowling is canceled. Might look into cooking something and watching a movie.
Have a great day.
Hi Folks. Working today. Weather is overcast, coolish. I think rain is forecast. Had a so-so weekend. On Saturday I helped dd clean out her garage. We found 2 dead rodents and lots of rat feces. You can bet I threw the clothes and shoes I was wearing into the washer with sanitizer and took a hot shower. Shudder. Hopefully I don't contract Hanta virus. Later that night, dd, the grands, and eldest son came over for dinner and game night.
Yesterday was breakfast with youngest son, which will be the last one for a while. He flew to Portland in the afternoon to start orientation for his new job. I was pretty achy, most of the day so napped and got caught up in a new Netflix series, "Pieces of Her".
Happy belated birthday, Amo!
Tweety, I just look over typos. I make so many myself, that I don't think its a big deal. I hope you recover from your intense weekend.
Joe, I'm you helping the minister was appreciated. There are not many birds around here yet either. I am seeing fewer geese and a few robins.
Davey, your GIF is a little creepy. Someone here, maybe Ted, remarked that banner doesn't reflect that most of us here are boomers, and not gen Xers.
Stars, well, at least branches on the ground are not going to fall on the roof, right? I agree, it is nice that you and your hubby are kind to that neighbor. We never know what others' burdens maybe.
Hi Ado Annie, Dianah, BCGrad, sirI, and Rose_Queen, and anyone I have left out. I hope you day goes well.
Morning, @Joe NightingMale ? . Are you considered like an Elder or Deacon in the Church?
@amoLucia, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!! ?
Hello, @Davey Do. ? Enjoy your new "technique".
Hey there, @Tweety. Just don't get into any trouble since bowling has been canceled. ?
Hi, @nursej22. I know you will definitely miss your son?. I haven't heard about the series, Pieces of Her. I'm watching Dark on Netflix.
Was a difficult night last night. Very scary. Tornado warnings started at around 1 a.m. and continued for about an hour. Thank goodness they didn't touch down. Last year at this time, we suffered significant tornado damage to the property and because of COVID, it took 6 months to get any repairs started. We are still waiting on a few repairs (not significant) to get done from last year ...
Thank goodness, no physical damage. And, believe it or not, I was able to drift off to sleep around 4 a.m., then up at 6 a.m.
Hope you all have a wonderful Monday. Stay safe. ?
Very, VERY windy~~~~~~~but in the 70's, partly sunny, partly cloudy. Glad to have that tree laying on the ground instead of lurking over our roof; with this wind being so vigorous and gusty, I'd bet we'd have some falling branches (or more) if the tree was still standing! Whew!
Gads! I have to go to the bank. Then to a groc. store, as we read on line that there is a call to not buy Coke, Pepsi, and something else. Those three companies haven't pulled their business from Russia. I hope they haven't stripped the shelves here, because hubby has a Pepsi Zero addiction.
We were going to get an third J&J vaccine, but the pharmacy says it is too early! I think we have to wait until April. Harumph!
Will be back by here later, as I have to go out now.....
sirl - from what neck of the country do you hail? I kinda know gen'l whereabouts of most.
Davey - you too. Not that I'll be stalking anyone soon.
What's a GIF for this unknowing one here?
They better NOT screw round with my diet Pepsi!
I've said this somewhere else, but do those 'photos' that accompany several threads bother anyone else? Always seem to be some female youngish nurses making some really exaggerated ugly face. Although a few have been a little older; few males.
Dianah - how might be the best way to start up 'Intensively like or dislike'? Also the RIP. Is there some way Admin can retrieve our Soap Opera Novella? Way tooooo much good stuff to lose (loose?). And I had 'saved' a future post - major story line change!

I'm in the South.
I searched a good while for that "novella", @amoLucia, but could not find it. If you had known the exact title, I would possibly have been able to find it.
Hi, @No Stars In My Eyes. Yes, glad the tree is not looming over your house!!
Now that I said I could not find that particular thread, @amoLucia, it occurred to me that @dianah is the one who started it several years ago. Right???? If so, maybe we can get her to submit another one? I vaguely recall she submitted it as an Article. (I could be wrong) ...
Even if we could have found that novella thread, there would have been no way to move it to the allnurses side because allnurses and the blue Breakroom were separate sites.
If I have to tell Nannie ONE MORE TIME: "I don't know," about the trunk, limbs and branches in the back yard; If I have to "Uh-huh" one more time when she says AGAIN "It's getting worse every day." about every. single. news. story.; if I have get up and do something that DOESN'T have to be done immediately, just to make the Nannie person 'happy'; If I have to explain ANYTHING else, I will scream bloody murder. // The Livin' End!

Hi Davey
Stars that is warm, only in the 30s here today
Tweety that's good you have 3 days off
Busy morning, with getting the crock pot started and doing laundry. Didn't do too badly at assisting minister, only forgot one or two things.
Met J for lunch afterwards. After that went to my cousin's, my sister had left a serving plate there during Christmas. Was nice to talk for a while, normally I only see that side of the family for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and events like graduations.
Hoping for a fairly normal work week
Think it will be in the 30s today, will be in the 30s and 40s all week
