what do we say? shock. respect. awe. please take a moment to remember a fellow school nurse that passed away this week. as we were all scrabbling with the epidemic situation, we were also doing our jobs as "the school nurse". we care for everyone on a school campus, and so did she!
with the utmost respect this is in memory of ms. bowden, school nurse of santa clara high.
our thoughts and prayers go out to your family and your school family. :redbeathe

Sad, sad story! My thoughts and prayers are with the family. She is a prime example of a school nurse - someone who does what needs to be done in time of emergency! Ironically, it cost her life.

I was also saddened by this to the point of doing a research and found this on the surf:
Ventilation during two-rescuer CPR performed according to the Guidelines 2000 may cause injury to the health of first aid providers. To minimize hyperventilation, both rescuers should exchange their positions at intervals of 3-5 min. This data challenge the recommendation to take a deep breath prior to each ventilation. Also I thought we were leaning more towards doing just compressions versus the whole gammit.
My prayers goes out to an Angel of Mercy! But a strange set of events, dying while helping someone else live.

Tragic. God bless this nurse, her family, and her school community.
