Molloy College Fall 2013

I applied a little over 2 weeks ago for the 2nd Degree Program at Molloy too. I called and made sure they got my transcripts, now it's just time to wait. I'm really hoping I get in, I graduated from Hunter College and have taken both A&P classes at Nassau since, taking microbiology right now. I applied to Nassau's nursing program but didn't get accepted = (

Sooo I've decided to bight the bullet and just spend more to get a second bachelor's at Molloy, assuming I can get in. My GPA from Hunter was only a little over 3.3 but I got A's in both A&P classes so hopefully that'll help.

Hey All!! I just wanted to know any information about Molloy College Dual Degree 2nd bachelors program, from any current students!! Also, has anyone applied for fall 2013? I'm still waiting to hear back from them.

I just applied for the BSN program I just hope I get accepted.. Crossing my fingers.

Good luck to all as well!!! :) I called the beginning of the year just to check the status of my application ( i applied back in dec.) They told me most likely in Feb 2013 there should be some answers. They were focus on trying to get everyone ready for spring 2013. go figure lol but yes I'm keeping my fingered crossed too!

I got a letter from Molloy Feb 14 saying I need to take their reading/writing and math screening tests. Not too worried about the reading test, I was after an all an English lit major. Math on the other hand I should probably brush up on. Anyone else get this letter? It has the test dates listed but it doesn't say whether or not you need to register to take these tests. I'm going to call and ask but does anyone know offhand if you just show up or what?

Oh and to answer your question, I don't think there is a deadline, it's rolling admissions but I think they stop accepting applications for the program when there's no more spots open. If that happens it would say on the application website.

Hey, when did you apply, if you don't mind me asking? lol i'm still waiting. I had a friend who did nursing there, and she said all u do is show up on the date you choose and an admissions person meets u along with everyone else and u go to a classroom. Also, she said something about a review sheet or something if u ask them for one on math so u can study before your date.

I applied Jan 7th. I've been checking my mailbox and this site everyday hoping it'd come soon, so I know how you feel. You'll most likely get something soon if they're starting to send letters.

Finally heard back last Thursday! accepted for Fall 2013 for the dual degree program! just mailed in the deposit! now i can relax. :) so keep checking mailboxes everyone, something should be there soon!

Good luck on your acceptance ...I applied for the regular BSN and I have not heard from them yet ..
