So I know I've seen a couple of posts about this already, but as they're from years ago I'm hoping the answer has changed. Does anyone know how long Molloy's 2nd Degree program takes to complete if you have all your pre-reqs done? I'm starting Fall 2013, and I was given an information sheet on how the program is structured, it does SEEM as though it can be done in two years. Also, I'm crazy enough to have registered to take the first five classes all at once, despite warnings, and tsks from the advisor. I honestly think I'll survive. I've gotten A's in A&P and micro while still working, and without breaking a sweat. I'm not bragging, I just think I can handle it, and the class only lasts a few months. I might be ripping my hair out by the end, but I can survive right? ...Right? If anyone else has done the first five at once, please re-assure me? I'm hoping that by doing this I CAN finish in two years and start paying off the massive debt I'm going to have from the tuition. Someone please tell me it can be done.

Yes I took the math exam and the Nelson Denny reading exam, the math exam wasn't too bad as long as you can do everything on the review sheet and remember to round your answers correctly. You have extra time for the math exam so I suggest going back and plugging in the answer to double check. I'm glad I did because I know I changed at least one of my answers, and I know for the dual degree program you're only allowed to get two questions wrong. Then for the dual degree program they also call to set up an appointment for an interview, which only lasts about five minutes. About a week later they send out an official acceptance letter. Happy to say I'm accepted! Now I just need to figure out how I'm going to pay for all this = / Good Luck!

I applied Jan 7th. I've been checking my mailbox and this site everyday hoping it'd come soon, so I know how you feel. You'll most likely get something soon if they're starting to send letters.

I got a letter from Molloy Feb 14 saying I need to take their reading/writing and math screening tests. Not too worried about the reading test, I was after an all an English lit major. Math on the other hand I should probably brush up on. Anyone else get this letter? It has the test dates listed but it doesn't say whether or not you need to register to take these tests. I'm going to call and ask but does anyone know offhand if you just show up or what? Oh and to answer your question, I don't think there is a deadline, it's rolling admissions but I think they stop accepting applications for the program when there's no more spots open. If that happens it would say on the application website.

I applied a little over 2 weeks ago for the 2nd Degree Program at Molloy too. I called and made sure they got my transcripts, now it's just time to wait. I'm really hoping I get in, I graduated from Hunter College and have taken both A&P classes at Nassau since, taking microbiology right now. I applied to Nassau's nursing program but didn't get accepted = ( Sooo I've decided to bight the bullet and just spend more to get a second bachelor's at Molloy, assuming I can get in. My GPA from Hunter was only a little over 3.3 but I got A's in both A&P classes so hopefully that'll help. Good luck to everyone else applying!
