I'll PM you once we can on here, and we can connect that way! :)

HI, I write my test June 29th...please please please come post how the test is after you write it, I am so nervous. I too am a mature student and instead of finishing courses I am just doing the testing in Math, Bio and Chem as well as the HOAE...I also applied at Humber, and six nations campus - Mohawk for September. Good luck all

Hi,

I'll be writing it on the 25th and I'll definitely update you guys! I wonder what's a good average for academic subjects to be considered competitive? Aside from Mohawk, I also applied at Niagara College. All the best to us!

Hey there! I'll definitely post, I'm writing it on June 27th! So nervous!! I feel like I've got a lot of studying to do to refresh my memory on this stuff! LoL

I was told by admissions to aim for 85% or higher to be competitive!

Tell me about it!! haha..it's hard to review when I have to juggle work, school and being a wife :) But we got this! Good luck!

Haha right??? Oh man! So much to do with the kiddos and work and a home to keep up with! Gah! Sometimes I wonder what I was thinking but then remember how much I want this! We will do great!! :)

Hey guys, read the thread and thought I should comment. So I completed my HOAE test back in Jan and those scores got me acceptance into Sheridans practical nursing program for this fall 2018. I'm in Burlington so Mohawk is closer and my first choice. The HOAE test is weird. The practice ones you'll find online are a good introduction as to how the structure of the test will be. The questions itself, I don't really feel you can study/prepare for, they are completely random. I skipped a lot of questions because I just didnt know and I advise you guys to do the same. Each section has a lot of questions and from what I understand the creators did this for our benefit...we aren't expected to answer all the questions but in the pool of say 75 math problems with 45 mins on the clock most us of should be able to answer 20 and get at least 10 right. They focus on that! Good luck to you guys, I think you'll all do fine :)

Hey there! Thanks so much for posting, that is really helpful insider info! His exam has been stressing me out more than I thought it would!! í ½í¸¬í ½í¸¬

Hello,

Glad to have found this forum. I am also trying my luck for January 2019 intake for RPN. Not to boast or anything but what are my chances if my final grades are:

BIO 94

CHEM 99

MATH 97

ENG 96

Would these marks be enough if I get just an OK score in HOAE test this month? Btw, I only applied in Mohawk. Thank you in advance!
