MJC 2019 application period

Hey all,

While looking at information for the Modesto Junior College RN program I came across an awesome thread on here for the 2018 application period. It was great to read through and see how much they motivated each other. It gives us an opportunity to stress together and bond while waiting to see if we get in. I am hoping to make a successful thread for those of us ready to apply in May.

I noticed on the status codes there is Initially Accepted for Spring – IACS and Accepted for Spring – ACS...Are those the same thing?

Also, when is the deadline to accept or reject acceptance for the Spring semester?

does anyone know which program is better from modesto or delta college?? I am accepted to both and now I want to decide which one should I go for?

I know Delta has a really good nursing program. They also have clinicals in Kaiser-Modesto.

If I had the option for both, I would go with MJC, hands down. The bridge program to Stan State to complete the BSN is a major deciding factor and the campus is safer. Delta would be closer for me, but I would still accept MJC over Delta, no doubt about it. I’ve also heard that Deltas program is very unorganized, I haven’t heard anything negative about MJC. Good luck!
