MJC 2019 application period

Published

Hey all,

While looking at information for the Modesto Junior College RN program I came across an awesome thread on here for the 2018 application period. It was great to read through and see how much they motivated each other. It gives us an opportunity to stress together and bond while waiting to see if we get in. I am hoping to make a successful thread for those of us ready to apply in May.

Best of luck to all

Did you call the office and ask on this date?

This date was given in the email after documentation was accepted

I finally got the green check marks today! All documentation approved! Baby steps...

btw I am an LVN applicant so don’t get discouraged if you don’t have check marks or changes

Congratulations yay!!! One step closer for the rest of us! LVN’s usually get theirs approved before all of us.

Does anyone know what the cut off looks like for this year yet?

do you think 76 is in? ?

Does anyone know how the bridge program works from MJC to Stan States BSN program?

I honestly cannot say for sure because each year the cut off is higher. I spoke to Donna and she said it was 74/75 last year, but they took off the waitlist, so it became around 72-73.

I am guessing either 76/77 or 75/76 will be the cut off this year.

For documentations the lowest I know of is 73 for mjc and 71 possibly 70 for Columbia. From people that have posted on the mjc group and from people I work with. Idk what points will be the current off for wait list. We will know when they tell us.

I applied the advanced pathway and received green check marks as well! Wooo!

Yes my friend is in her first semester at Stan and about to enter her third at MjC. It goes by merit. You apply to the scholarship and you can do a semester at a time during the summer while finishing your RN. From what I understand they pay for your first 12 units.

From what I heard, 71 was the lowest for MJC too. I saw people who had 71 in the facebook page for MJC.
