Hey all,
While looking at information for the Modesto Junior College RN program I came across an awesome thread on here for the 2018 application period. It was great to read through and see how much they motivated each other. It gives us an opportunity to stress together and bond while waiting to see if we get in. I am hoping to make a successful thread for those of us ready to apply in May.
Best of luck to all

There’s an option that lets you do the same thing without having to commit to working in the area for 3 years or being a resident or Stanislaus county. It’s the application for a non-CSF scholarship and also you’re able to take classes through open university as well. I prefer to do my online BSN through CSU Stanislaus.
That link apply to both scholarship and non scholarship sequential enrollment applicants.

One of the questions is "what will you do with your degree in the stanislaus service area"
For Non csf scholarship u still need to work for three years in the stanislaus area. Bcuz the first link i provided pertains to both i believe
Correct me if im wrong but the pdf contradicts what u said.

No for non CSF scholarship, you don’t need to work in the area for 3 years. It said that no where in the requirements.
The CSF scholarship is the one that requires you to be a Stanislaus County resident and commit to 3 years working in the area.
NON-CSF means you are not sponsored nor a scholarship recipient, meaning you pay for it on your own, but you are still able to take classes during the summer without any commitment.
Also, there are two SEPARATE links:
this is CSF scholarship: https://www.mjc.edu/instruction/alliedhealth/adnprogram/documents/dase_page/03262019_scf_merged_app_support.pdf
this is NON CSF:

Notice how the requirements are different.

The date is when they received that supporting doc

I applied to Delta College which is about an hour from me. MJC is definitely my first choice since it's only a 15-20minute drive. I also applied to Merced which is about the same commute as MJC however they are changing they're app process for advanced placement.
