I was so excited to share with my AllNurses friends that I took the NCLEX yesterday morning, 75 questions, less than an hour, drove the 6 hours home and got the good pop-up when I arrived! I really hope PVT works but I'm not going to believe it until it's official! LOL. It's going to be an anxiety-ridden next few days!I missed you all! Good luck as I know some of you are going to take it soon! :kiss
Congratulations! Can you tell us what you did to prepare?
Sweety - you will do fine!
CrazierThanYou - I started studying prior to graduation with just the Saunders 5th edition. I didn't get nearly enough study time with the holidays though. I've always been pretty good at testing throughout school and my final ATI was a 96% that I would pass NCLEX on the first try. I hope it's right! LOL
I will tell you that NCLEX asked some pretty weird questions over some pretty random things. When I hit question 74, I was begging the machine to continue to give me more and more questions. I felt like I guessed the whole way through and when it shut off at 75, I was sure that I failed that test. Still no official results and I still feel like I failed it. But, did get the good PVT pop-up and am hoping that it's correct. I REALLY hope I don't have to wait until Tuesday to find out!
Congrats to you nurse1123! It is a fantastic feeling to enter into the New Year with!!! I'm so excited for 2012; I am going to start my new career, moving in with my long term boyfriend and son's father, paying off my car loan and hopefully taking a well-deserved vacation! Our future looks bright! LOL
We did DO it!!!
