Has anyone applied to midwestern university crna program? can anyone give hints on the program's interview experience for the class of 2015 that just started? Thanks.
I just applied 2 days ago. Does anyone have a clue when they typically stop taking interviews?
About the interview, someone said they want to know down to receptors, does that mean such as beta or alpha on pressors or they want to hear down ro Ligand gates of receptor such as Muscarinic/nicotinic?? just trying to gauge expectation if called for interview - am also in Seattle Carni
Take this with a grain of salt, but I called earlier this week and asked how many spots were filled and the admissions office said 34/34. :/ She said at this point it would be for waitlist if people decide not to go. Wish I had applied earlier but I did not know about this program. Hindsight is 20/20.
Just a head's up... we were told that last year they made it through the entire waitlist. Sounds like people that opted not to go because they had offers closer to home. Also, not everyone is super excited about the extensive travel that is required during clinicals. They had a fairly long wait-list. So it may be worth while to accept an interview invite anyway (if they decide to hold them) and try to get yourself on that list. Plus, then they will know you for next year's application as well.

Had an interview today. How long after your interview did it take to hear back about your acceptance? Thx.
