OHSU CRNA 2018
Received a call yesterday in the eve as well. I was going to work and could barely concentrate on my work. Very happy to get a spot on this particular program. Of all 5 sch I applied, OHSU is my number 1 choice. The faculty and school atmosphere seems very supportive - Portland: perfect. For those that did not get a spot, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Stay hopeful. The difference between admits and those that don't get spots is minimal with sheer luck too, we are all qualified Candidates if you got an interview (in my opinion). So stay at it, many candidates will have to pick btwn 2 program. So spots will definitely open up in 1-2 month all across the west coast. Last word: don't practice interviews too much on personal questions, they want to connect with your everyday you. Not the practiced perfect version of you so... practicing too much takes away who you really are and makes you abit cookie cutter. Best of luck to all my peeps.

I just applied 2 days ago. Does anyone have a clue when they typically stop taking interviews? About the interview, someone said they want to know down to receptors, does that mean such as beta or alpha on pressors or they want to hear down ro Ligand gates of receptor such as Muscarinic/nicotinic?? just trying to gauge expectation if called for interview - am also in Seattle Carni

Also, don't forget lots of applicants have multiple apps going so you can still get vacated spots.

In the hunt for a position as well. Finishing up my app. All the best with the WestCoast programs desert.
