Has anyone applied to midwestern university crna program? can anyone give hints on the program's interview experience for the class of 2015 that just started? Thanks.
I know of someone in the program. The program is hard like all other programs. If you're not one for traveling then MWU is not for you. My friends has to travel out of state for his clinicals and is often away from his wife and children. Make sure you have a reliable car. In addition they have a new director of the program so I don't know how that is going to affect the program overall.
For those that interviewed and got in for either 2017 or 2018 school year, can you help me out and give me some insight as to what some of the most recent interview questions have been? I'd like to be prepared for when I apply, probably not until 2019 entrance. Big thanks to you all! Best of luck to everyone who still has yet to hear from MWU.
Hi Carni
I am interested to learn about Midwestern University's interview process and questions. Can I message you as well? Thanks :)

Your messages here are very helpful for future applicants. Would you mind if I private message you for questions or advices regarding application/interview and SRNA life at Midwestern. Thank you so much!

Hi!
I have an interview coming up soon and I just wanted to see if anyone would be willing to give me some tips? Carni, I noticed that you said you cannot receive PMs... I'm new on here so I doubt I can even send them. Is there an area that I should focus on as far as studying for clinical questions? From what I've gathered, right now I plan on knowing vent settings in and out as well as ABG interpretation, and some pharmacology. I was planning on focusing my pharm on pressors, propofol, and precedex. I am someone who is very good at taking tests on paper but sometimes I blank out with oral examinations so I'm understandably nervous about being underprepared. Otherwise, I interview pretty well from what I can tell from my history as far as job interviews are concerned. This is my first CRNA program interview :)
TBH my interview was similar to this post https://allnurses.com/student-registered-nurse/crna-midwestern-application-1098194.html. Pretty sure I got the same interviewers. They wanted to know everything down to the receptor level. I'd also study code drugs (I was asked about atropine). I've also heard them asking simple medical calculations, like how many mcg in a mg, or concentration of propofol, but I didn't get any of that.

Hello all!
I guess I am the first nervous interviewee to post for HELP on this years (class of 2020) interviews. I am interviewing for the CRNA Program at MWU on Tuesday July 11th. From what I've read the interview has a mix of clinical and psychosocial questions. They invitation told me that it was a 6 hour process. Can anyone help me with advice on preparation?
