  1. And even then they still used the word "probably", weird. If the interview slots have been filled they should just say so. Oh well! I'm already in at a great school and am starting in May (Yikes!). This would've allowed me to stay closer to home though. Good luck to everyone, either with OHSU, or with other schools!
  2. Anybody else still not hear anything yet?
  3. Just a head's up... we were told that last year they made it through the entire waitlist. Sounds like people that opted not to go because they had offers closer to home. Also, not everyone is super excited about the extensive travel that is required during clinicals. They had a fairly long wait-list. So it may be worth while to accept an interview invite anyway (if they decide to hold them) and try to get yourself on that list. Plus, then they will know you for next year's application as well.
  4. Ok, search facebook for "Midwestern University CRNA Class of 2020" under groups and request to be added! I had to add someone in order to publish the group so I just added my dad for now haha.
  5. Hey, those admitted to Class of 2020... PM me your email addresses and I will add you to the facebook group I am making :)
  6. I don't think there is yet but we should make one? Might be nice to communicate.... especially if people want to try to organize housing together for those who are coming down without a family.
  7. Thank you! I can't private message... but I'm from Seattle area :) So exciting!
  8. Yes! I interviewed and was accepted yesterday!!! :)
  9. Hi! I have an interview coming up soon and I just wanted to see if anyone would be willing to give me some tips? Carni, I noticed that you said you cannot receive PMs... I'm new on here so I doubt I can even send them. Is there an area that I should focus on as far as studying for clinical questions? From what I've gathered, right now I plan on knowing vent settings in and out as well as ABG interpretation, and some pharmacology. I was planning on focusing my pharm on pressors, propofol, and precedex. I am someone who is very good at taking tests on paper but sometimes I blank out with oral examinations so I'm understandably nervous about being underprepared. Otherwise, I interview pretty well from what I can tell from my history as far as job interviews are concerned. This is my first CRNA program interview :)
