Midwestern State University spring 2015 hopeful

I have finally gotten everything situated with my classes and GPA to FINALLYYYY apply! I am sending in my application this week, just finished up my chem class with a B thank god. I have a 3.0 GPA for my prerequisites and about 60 to 63 points. What do you think my chances are for getting in? When I talked to my advisor she said if I got a B in chem then I should have no problem but my worrying self doesn't want to wait that long to see. And how long did it take for a response. Application deadline is August 15th. Any helpful advise would be appreciated!!

Also, I called the housing department who are in charge of room assignments and if you're new to MSU we wont know until early December :(

Well The first semester classes are

Intro to Nursing

Patho

Health Assessment

Im taking intro and Patho right now and i would recommend

professor Close for intro she is AMAZING

and Patho Buchanan she is also a great professor

Health assessment is only one professor so yea lol

the clinical i chose tho was tuesdays 3-5 :)

Gifty, I chose the same clinical! So excited! I'm also taking online Nutrition and Medical Terminology for easy fillers! :)

I haven't gotten a packet in the mail yet so I'm not sure, but do we have to be CPR certified prior to January? I know the first semester is technically Sophomore II so will MSU be giving us the training on campus? I know they do that at some other programs so just curious...

I finally got my schedual for next spring

Monday

1:00-3:50pm Family Assessment

4-5:20pm Patho

Tuesday Family assessment clinical

3:00-5:00pm

Thursday: Intro to Nursing

1-2:20pm

What was the cut off point for the spring 2015 class. Just want to have an idea. Am looking to apply for the fall of 2015. I have just the physical education classes left. I will be taking them in the spring.

It turns out we don't need to be CPR certified prior to the Spring. All we need is our inoculations up-to-date, our blue cards and ourselves at the Nursing Orientation. We don't even need scrubs, but I'll be buying mine before because I don't want to pay MSU Bookstore price on scrubs that I can get anywhere. I already have my patches so I'll just get all of that out of the way beforehand! Good luck on finals!

I am still patiently waiting on the wait list but keeping hope alive!!!!!! I received my housing on Monday.....Sundancers.......I'm hoping everyone got their first choice of housing.

hello i am applyign for the fall 2015, was wanting to know if you got into the nursing program off of the waiting list? and also what were your points and what was the cut off? any info what be great thank you
