Midwestern State University spring 2015 hopeful

I have finally gotten everything situated with my classes and GPA to FINALLYYYY apply! I am sending in my application this week, just finished up my chem class with a B thank god. I have a 3.0 GPA for my prerequisites and about 60 to 63 points. What do you think my chances are for getting in? When I talked to my advisor she said if I got a B in chem then I should have no problem but my worrying self doesn't want to wait that long to see. And how long did it take for a response. Application deadline is August 15th. Any helpful advise would be appreciated!!

Hey jad3sola, just call the Texas board of nurses and they will mail you out a new one. Call in the morning so that they can mail it out the same day. Cause ms Brunson said we will need to have them. The number is [phone]. I had never received mine cause I had moved so she sent me a new one. Hope that helps 

No I'm not exactly sure because Jeana gave with one number but Catherine gave me a different one.........maybe I have moved up already :) Where are you attending school right now? I'm at TCC

So are you in your first semester of the nursing program? How are you enjoying it?

No I'm not in my first semester. I will begin the program in the spring 2015, but i am taking intro to nursing and patho. i like the school so far and i have met a lot of people who are in the program currently and they are giving me some awesome advice!

I decided to stay at mustang village and signed my own lease. umm i didn't really have a major reason. they were taking too long to let me know which one i would get between sun watchers and mustang village then someone told me that through the school mustang village was full. that was pretty much my reason. but once i came and looked at mustang village i loved it. and its only 435 a month for me that includes everything and I'm in a 3 bedroom. I knew one of my roommates so it not too bad living with two othee ppl. The other thing is through the school, the RAs do room checks and all that stuff that I didnt want to deal with so yea. hope that helped lol. Plus mustang village is cheaper whether you do it through the school or sign your own lease it comes out to be around the same price.
