Nursing Students School Programs

Has anyone applied to MSU's accelerated nursing program in Wichita Falls? I applied and I am hoping to hear back soon in March. What's everyone's stats?

Hello I'm glad you started this forum I just applied to Midwestern State University back in December I'm still waiting on my acceptance to the university. So might I apply for traditional BSN program.

I applied since August and still have not heard anything. I'm wondering if that is normal ? @daphane1990

@snifewawa oh wow that is crazy have you called them?

So I received an email stating that I needed to send in an updated version of my current school's transcripts. Otherwise, I think I am good to go.

I just want to know more about their nursing program because it seems that it's not a very popular school (which I am totally okay with). I just would like information from someone who's entered the program! @daphane1990

@snifewawa Yea I don't think there program is popular I could not find any forum for Midwestern but I will keep you posted.

Both my brother and sister-in-law graduated from this program and they have moved onto Nurse Pract. status. It is a small, but great program. BEST OF LUCK!

Just applied, I’m so nervous!

@snifewawa @daphane1990

what is everyone’s stats if y’all don’t mind me asking? I haven’t found very much information on what competitive applicants GPA/scores would look like.

@maddier

I will graduate in May with a Bachelors in Human Sciences and have a 3.5 cumulative GPA, but I believe my prereq GPA is maybe a 3.1. I also made a 92 on the math section of HESI and an 88 on the English, which is all I think they require for the Accelerated 2nd Degree program anyway. Are you doing the traditional or accelerated?

Oh, what do your stats look like? @maddier
