@snifewawa I just graduated with my BS from Tarleton State University. My cumulative is low like a 3.0 but my prereq GPA is a 3.9. My HESI scores were a 94 in math and an 89 on the English portion.

I'm so glad someone created this thread! I applied for this summer as well! I have had several friends and a few family members go through MSU's nursing program (albeit the regular program, not the accel). They all landed fantastic jobs after graduation. Outside of them, I too have found little info about the program, but its lack of popularity seems to keep it one of the "best kept secrets" as far as nursing schools in Texas go.

My hesi scores were 98 for math and 93 for English, but my prereq gpa is kind of low at 3.04 I'm currently finishing up my last three prereq classes.

Good luck everyone! The wait is already driving me crazy, and we still have another month+ ?

Not going to lie I have been so nervous! @sennse14 do you know your friends and family's stats? I would like to think the traditional would be more competitive than the accelerated maybe.

The accel program only has 30 spots total available so I would think it would be more competitive

Would it be crazy to call and find out when we will hear something? I just want to know if we will even hear anything back this week or if it will be next week. Has anyone heard anything?

I feel like somewhere I read we would hear by the 15th, and looking back to last year people heard as early as the 11th. I don’t think it would be crazy at all to call. I’m sure we’d all love to know if you do end up calling and find something out!

I called and she said she was finalizing the list and we should hear something in 2-3 weeks I thought it would be sooner because of last years thread, but I guess that’s not the case this year.
