@angieperry did you email catherine to take the hold off of your account so you can register next week? I'm sure the letter Jeana sending us will tell us how and hopefully give more information as to what we are supposed to be doing as well. When she sent that email tuesday about the fingerprints she said she hoped to finish mailing the rest of the letter that day so I hope they get here today!

@lorr19 I will be driving down in june and twice in july so I try to go see catherine with questions or concerns each time I go down. So if yall have questions too you can tell me and ill ask her for everyone and tell yall what she says through here. Also I registered for classes and I picked intro computer and there is some writing proficiency exam you have to take before they will give you a bachelor degree or you can take the class(engl 2113) to satisfy the requirement, so I enrolled in that class to make me full time. If you search the engine on msu home page and type in writing proficiency exam it will bring up what I am talking about

@keunnamonae Catherine responded and said she would remove the gold and I should remind here before next week Thursday which s when, enrollment would be open again. I think I would just take the writing class then and be done with it. Am going for the orientation June 18th.

@lorr19 Yes that is what I am doing since it a requirement and it will make me full time. Cause I really couldnt find any other class that I wanted to take lol. Thats good when you go let us know how it goes, and I will also be down at Midwestern June 16-18 so maybe when your finished with orientation on the 18 we can meet up on campus?

@keunnamonae sure we can meet up after am done with orientation. Do you know how long you would be doing the cheer? And yes I would definitely tell you guys when am back. Which instructor are you taking for the English class and what section so we can be in the same class?

@lorr19 I have practice from 10-12 and from 3-5 on that day. So either we can meet during my lunch break between 12-3 or we can meet after 5. I am taking the one on tues and thurs from 1230-150 and the instructer is Betty Carroll section 11092.

The writing requirement is being discussed at this time I was told to check back the end of June first of July to see if one of my other courses would be accepted. Also not sure if you read you can take a one day course assigned I think once or twice a year to satisfy for the is course and only if you fail would there be a need to enroll in the class for the semester. This is just information if you thought taking the class itself was mandantory.

@breacumby What other courses would they accept to fulfill that requirement? I know you can take an one time exam in the summer to fulfil the requirement or you can take the class. I am just taking the class instead of the exam because it would make me full time and I wouldnt have to take some other pointless class because I have already taken some of the nursing classes for the first semester.

@keunnamonae I would let you know when we can meet either on your break or after you done. I would have to know our orientation schedule breakdown to see. Would text you though around those times. About the writing proficiency thing brecumby is taking about, I would just ask mrs Rudy, if any class we took at a community college would serve as a requirement. If no am taking the class instead to be full time as well.
